Originally created for the 1939 World's Fair, the tram cars on the Wildwood boardwalk have taken an estimated 20 million people up and down the shore since they started being used in 1949.

The tramcar started running in the 1939 World's Fair in New York and then in 1949 a local businessman brought them here to the Wildwoods Boardwalk
