Marcellus is delusional and is in denial. Before the playoffs everyone was saying the lakers had the toughest road now all of the sudden they got a cake walk 😂. The clippers are dead and everyone is just holding out hope because they want that Lakers matchup. It ain’t HAPPENING and everyone will start to discredit the lakers for having to play the nuggets even though it’s the clippers fault.

Please keep note of the several narrative changes these talking heads have placed on LAL: 1. Lakers don't look like the same team in the bubble, and they're going to have a more challenging road to the championship. 2. POR is "the most dangerous 8 seed" 3. *After game 1* Lakers getting dropped off in 5. 4. LAL beat the 8th seeded Blazers. Not impressive. 5. HOU small ball is going to give the Lakers fits. The rockets have a top rated offense and defense. 6. *After game 1* Yeah i'm taking this Houston team, LAL doesn't have enough "dog in em". 7. We really thought micro-ball would stand a chance against the Lakers. HOU was overrated in the bubble. REMEMBER: this is not basketball analysis, these are 'hot takes" based on feelings and emotions. Yup. Lakers lost Bradley, had to go against two mismatches, "the best 8th seed ever" and the "Rockets who want the Lakers matchup". They made them look like a joke. Meanwhile, the Clippers were lucky to escape Dallas who was without Dwight Powell, Porzingis, and Luka was injured for half the series (notice how the Clippers offense went off in game 5 with no Porzingis on defense). Now they're in a 7 games series with the Nuggets and they're lucky to be there

I'm glad Acho said it finally. I won't call Doc Rivers overrated but I also wouldn't say he's great either. If you were the coach of 2 and if the Clippers lose 3 teams that blew 3-1 series leads and also blew 3-2 series leads in 2009,2010 and 2012 then you're not "great"

Its easy to see that Morris disrupts the flow/chemistry. And in more ways than one. On defense he picks and chooses his spots and does what he wants. On offense he often times takes shots that are normally taken by Lou. Easily noticed when Kawhi is not on the floor. No one challenges him because of the bully/tough guy factor. Once again Mr. Acho is correct. It's up to the Coach to find combinations that work together on a consist basis. Picking up Morris and Jackson was two too many. Just an opinion.
