Yes you can Phillip. Take off the front bumper skirt. I realize the rt skirt looks cool but for the sake of the test, off it comes. Remove the fender flares, if possible (on the slt plus 4x4 they come off amd add 2 inches of clearance), and take off the rocker panel/side step fairing. trust me, youll want to leave those off it gives you a more visual look of ground clearance and it looks like it should have been that way fdom factory
Sherry Hulsey thinking about taking off the fender flares and running boards off my 02. How much of a job is it to do? Barely got time to do it but I’ve seen em without the flares n steps and it looks amazing
@@Stonks93 if you haven't done it yet, it's pretty straightforward for the steps, id use a cordless impact with a 3/8 socket adapter, makes it a ton easier, the fender flares on the front held in with both a fastener and double sided tape, just use fishing line and goo gone and you'll be good, the rear has plastic rivets, take a hammer and a nail and pop the center through, then all that's left is double sided tape again, and the door flare piece is just double sided, my videos show what mine looks like without flares, steps, and door trim
They would certainly have a better chance of fitting if they were on rims with the proper bolt pattern, not requiring a spacer between the wheel and the hub. The OD of the tire isn't the only factor in "will it fit?"
Scowered the internet for the last 3 months and have found 1 "lift" its just a torsion key and rear shackle kit from suspension specialists in California. I am thinking about just tightening existing torsion keys up 1 - 1 1/2 inches and maybe running 305's
I'm just squeezing 285/75r17s under mine temporarily or 295/75r16. Being I already have 16 inch and 15 inch rims but I cant find any 17 inch RT rims. I've got a 3 inch body on mine so it should squeeze them.
@@elijahthompson1631 my lift is body lift. But I would think that would make it clear better I'm not sure. I decided since the truck keeps fucking up I'm going to a bigger size anyway. I want something as close to 36x13.50r18 as possible. In metric size of course I just mean my diameter and width. I plan to run 18x12 -44s and have a very big wide squatty truck
Hey man question for you I just got a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport do you think if I do a 3.5 front leveling I can put 35 inch tires on a stock 20 inch rim
How high did you have to go? I'm looking for something subtle, just ordered 2" blocks for the rear, and am raising the torsion bars in the front, think that will be enough?
@@bobtailsthecat um just get a 3" body lift and crank the front keys and 2" lift shackels and there's 5" to fit 36s with some trimming and spacers there ya go simple....
mersades Benz fan the proper lift would be to have a suspension lift of course it’s possible to combine those two methods for 5” ...body lifts are shit and torsion cranking fucks with the geometry of joints and axles
