No one ever discusses the offset that is needed! All forums and videos say you can fit 35’s without a lift if you don’t plan on off-roading with a moderate offset they’ll fit. What kind of offset am I looking for when I shop 35’s to ensure they’ll fit?!
I just bought wrangler sahara unlimited it actually has FOX lift but has ABS and traction light on the stock tires 🛞 suppose to be 255/70/R18 He got on 275/80/R18 said it’s touching if you turn Wonder if that’s the ABS dash light on they also just did full front break replacement
I did this with -6 with 35x12.5. but I bought Rubicon fenders that raise fenders and give a extra inch and a half of space. Do light trails and some flexing...no rubbing yet.
The Bronco will only fit the 35's on the upgraded Sasquatch package, because it also has the upgraded suspension and lift. You cannot fit 35's on a non-upgraded stock Bronco.
I have stock 275x55xr20s on my 23 Wrangler Sahara. I want 33” tires but I also want to keep my stock 20 wheels because they are black. What tire size and diameter should I get? Also would I even need a lift kit or spacers?
I have a 2018 jeep Sahara JL 2.0 turbo I picked up 2021 Jeep gladiator Fox suspension, will it on my Jeep Sahara? if not please explain and if there’s a way I can reach out to you a number of something
But wouldn't you have to regear with 35's on a stock JLU to make sure your gears shift correct with the bigger tires? People are saying they can't get up to 5 or 6th gear in their manual with 35's on stock.
How can you not get to 5th or 6th with a manual when you can physically shift it into gear. If you want to be in a gear you press clutch and shift to what gear you want.
@@leesparks4813 You can technically shift them into gears. However, the loss of power in those gears is what we're dealing with. You will feel your jeep drive like a dog or sluggish in 5-6
Any suggestions on where I can buy a set of these tires and rims online? I'm driving a 2020 white jeep wrangler unlimited sport. Im trying to save a little
@@JdVids_ it’s doing ok. I put a falcon stabilizer and a steering box reinforcement But it is still a little hard to stay straight next is an alignment I will keep u up dates
I have 2017 Sahara and I was told that I will have to lift and change front bumpers but I love the look of filled space with tires on jeep in your video, question when you go on the road will tires touch bottom of fender on bumps ?
I have that exact car, on Monday I’m putting on those Toyo open country at3… will my tires stick out the same as those do? I love the look on this and I’m hoping mine will be as wide out from my stock fender as those… any thoughts on that?
Hey jack hope you and your family are well I just want to tell you that your wife’s Jeep looks perfect and doesn’t need lift especially that women are shorter than men so it will make it harder for them to hope in but i suggest you if you Wanna lift it just put 2 or 2.5 inches of suspension spacers & because you will not buy a set of lift kits just buy a pre-runner steel front bumper from (ADD) with some rigid industry and Baja design & rocker bars /step bars and magna flow exhaust or flow master
Can anyone “help me” with some information about if it’s okay to put 315 /17 tires on a lifted up wrangler 2018 sport .. do I need to add anything to the axle ?
If it's a sport or sport s you need to remove the front bumper under pinning/splash guard. The Sarah's and Rubi's will clear it but the Sports have to remove that front bumper under pining.
I had to remove that on my 2dr JL just to fit 33s lol. Tomorrow I'm adding Rubicon suspension so plenty of clearance. Also ended up swapping out my stock bumper for a steel bumper for my winch anyways so the 33s woulda fit no problem at that point.
@@adventureswithbear I also have a two door JL and want legit 33's (Baja Boss 295/70r 17s). What was your offset/backspacing. Did you have too much or too little offset that caused you to have to remove the bumper guard. I'm hoping I can get away with not removing it 17x9 -12 offset 4.5 backspacing. Did you get the Rubi lift? Second hand from a Rubi owner going to different setup?
@@Ownuout it was only when I had the wheel fully cranked to the right and was just barely rubbing the plastic. They are 285/70/17 which is only 32.8 I believe so not true 33s. Turned fully left I had zero rub at all even when giving it some bounce. I just removed what I did because I was putting on a steel winch bumper anyways.
sweet glad i ran into your channell now it feb 2022 but got you locked in now im sure the ram build is done but all in for future build wanting to do tires on our 2019 jl with out lifting giving it a better stance buy the 2020 ram going to level and tires for a good stance
They will fit and have no issues on the road as long they they are offset extra inch. BUT, they will not work offroad on Sahara or Sport, as they will horribly rub and can brake off plastic flare. I run 34" tires on my Sahara with Rubicon suspension, and that works. Need rubicon flares to run 35s
Yeah it fits when it's just sitting. But hit a bump and feel it rub and hit hard. Not enough clearance with suspension. Recommended to do a least a 2inch lift
I’m asking for a big favor, how much do those exact tire rim combo cost. And is it possible to drop a link. I’m super interested in buying them. I need new tires urgently
I’ve always liked the look of a jeep that was low with large tires. This was a valuable video. Could you please reply with the size of the 35 inch tires you used also the brand.
