Took a beautiful fall afternoon to spruce up my Dad's 2007 Chevy Avalanche by giving it a full plastic trim restoration using CERAKOTE TRIM COAT KIT!
I used it once restoring my faded plastic on my Toyota FJ Cruiser, now I'm putting it to the ultimate test trying to restore these way far gone Chevy Avalanche panels.
Sorry for my poor video taking in the middle of the video you can fast forward through my recording my feet, UGH!
I promise the video quality will improve... LOL!

How long did that coating last? Does your dad's truck still look as good as it does in the video?

If you need to take it off like I did. Acetone free nail polish remover and a Scotch-Brite pad will do it. Mine had splotches in it.

Still holding up strong. The shine has diminished a little bit. I’ll probably retreat again in the fall. Great product! Don’t hesitate. I’m not sponsored in any way either.

Truck looks great! Glad you posted this. I’ve got an 02 avalanche and I’ve been putting off the application cause I don’t have a good place to apply it where it’s not in direct sun. I’ve been having 2 packages of the ceracote for about 6 months now. Was there any spots that had to be touched up after it dried, like areas that were faded more than others?

The front bumper, bed cover panels, and the avalanche wing needed two applications. Still looks like the day I did it. This stuff is the real deal!
