AI is not creative, it doesn’t think outside of the box by definition. I think Andrew is right that AI will make the working part of art making much easier, but the intuition and creativity itself is still a human aspect.

Ai is going to be pretty insane for sampling in music. Being able to potentially feed it drum samples you made, recorded, or produced and having it apply bespoke processing or mashing it with other sounds harmonically / acoustically is going to be very cool. I think something similar could be done with the human voice. What artists do with ai is going to be up to us.

No matter how much the principalities and the rulers want to replace humans, Ai will never create true art, because art comes from the human soul and the human soul is eternal.

When companies create AI art, just steal it and sell it as your own. Because it’s not created by a human, it does not have copyright So when we steal it and these companies realize they can’t make money over something they cannot have proprietorship over, they’ll start hiring Artists back and actually buying licenses again😂

I believe art in any form is solely based on feelings and that is something AI will never have.

It is going to replace the need for artists. It’s a hard fact to face but you can either choose to be negligent or accept the fact that the worst AI image generator can generate something that would take you days or even weeks to make in less than 30 seconds.

Also, the bizarre nature of AI is and will be it's own demise. That said, AI is already being used with incredible results by clever folks. Perhaps it will be healthy competition for human experiential living, making us try harder.

What RFK said is no different from the observation that covid tended not to affect people with type O blood as severely. It was a genuine observation from Chinese foctors st the beginning of it all. But it was never talked about in our media. I was following the news from China very closely. I remember it well. My daughter is type O so we used to joke about her being immune!

That’s a wrong assumption. If Ai becomes the tool for artists it’s even worse. Because art will decline more gradually. That was actually the problem of art because it has become a copy of someone else’s copy of someone else. It is removed from reality. Now if it becomes the copy of what Ai digests and its kitschy images than it’s just going to decline. What artists need to do if they are “afraid” is to actually learn from reality. Ai can never beat classical academic paintings that obviously used reality as a reference and even expressed it in more tangible way than the photograph with all the mood and experience. So the answer is to go back to the roots and remove yourself from the convenience of Google.

We have to first start with the question; what is art? Classically, it is understood as the ability to bring ideas into reality. Good art is the closest approximation to what was intended. Under this idea, the ai programmers are the artists. Weather it’s good or not is dependent of what their intentions were.

I gotta disagree with Andrew as an illustrator. AI "art" is not real art, however, it is significantly cheaper to produce than paying cartoonists, illustrators, architects and other commercial artists. It may be hollow, but corporations would rather pay less for a hollow amalgamation of older works than true art. The same is true of music and literature. AI will effectively end the livelihoods of professional artists and musicians. This is only one small example of the damage it will do to our culture.

Unfortunately cultural decay has guaranteed AI art will replace human art. AI will never produce an equivalent to Shakespeare or Michaelangelo, but AI will certainly improve upon Bob Dylan and Jackson Pollock.

AI can make pretty decorations, as natural processes can produce beautiful objects. But art can only be made by Man. Many have been cheated of this knowledge by the defilement of art by the degenerate Communists who have replaced high art with collections of garbage and random paint splatters. AI can emulate art, but lacking understanding and a soul it can never make it. Though it has already exceeded the defilers vandalism. With a good AI assistant, a real artist will be able to produce incredibly intricate images and interactive art. And of course there will always be artists who will continue to mold clay, stone and canvas into the image of their minds eye.
