@@wizarddragon Coach didn't say he's the starter, just that it's his to lose. I believe everyone will get their shot. The coaches aren't in a conspiracy to pick the wrong guy. The staff doesn't have unlimited time to get it right and neither does CHF.

Wait a second if Hank or Holden is QB1 after spring Payton will leave cause he it is his last year and he wants to start if Hank is QB1 Holden and Payton are gone if you down to 2 scholarship QB which is not good so you want Thorne to be QB1 after spring so you only lose one QB after spring not two but let’s be real Hank is QB1 after spring most likely so Payton and Holden will transfer so yes we will take at least one QB in the spring portal you have to

@@GracieSkywalker There's a possibility any but Walker could leave. Most fans and probably much of the staff have penciled in Walker for next year. If Thorne starts this year and Walker is waiting in the wings for next year, where is the path to playing time for Holden or Hank?

U do know I our o line sucked and we ain’t have any good receivers. These comments are why we ran off Bo nix and he balled out wit the ducks cause he had a line weapons.. give him a chance wit good receivers and a line b4 we just write him off

@@orlandoallen4449fr I’m so tired of hearing this. PT’s worst season at MSU would’ve put him in the top 10 of all time seasons for a QB at Auburn - he ain’t the issue. And *hopefully* what was the issue has now been resolved. We have much better talent at receiver, and our coaching staff isn’t being thrown together last minute while trying to catch up on recruiting and also trying to get a gameplan together for how the offense and defense will run. They went through that crazy busy spring and came to the realization that there wasn’t a good enough QB on the roster so they went and brought in PT. He didn’t even get a spring. I could understand the disdain for the guy if he quit on the team, but PT fought his ass off every play. He’s not perfect, but I’ve got nothing but respect for him and I’m pulling hard for him to lead us to success. I think he’s gonna prove a lot of people wrong!

@@tr3fromOURAville That is not open. How can someone win a job that someone has to lose first? No matter how good the other 3 QBs look, Thorne will be the starter if he doesn't lose it. He did plenty to lose that job last season.

Thorne’s QB1 at the start of Spring Practice because he played the position last year. Someone has to be named but Coach Freeze is going to give all the QB’s the chance to win the job. Freeze will start the QB that gives Auburn the best chance to win. Game 1 starter may not be the starter at the middle or end of the season.
