Will DJ Wagner shock college basketball and transfer to USC. DJ Wagner is in the transfer portal he played his freshman season for Kentucky he took a visit to USC. Head coach Eric Mussleman is recruiting DJ Wagner and get him to USC. John Calipari is still in the mix for DJ Wagner and he could transfer to Arkansas

He'll have a better chance as a starter at USC. Arkansas is loading up. USC will not be at that level. If the money is even just close at USC, he goes to the West Coast.

Why??? If anything, it may be a waste for him to go to Arkansas because of Johnnell Davis? Your logic does not make sense.

@@troyjohnson7547 DJ Wagner would start at point guard and Davis would be the at the number two spot with Fland as the back up point guard. Davis is always better when he’s free to cut and shoot

@zackschooley5858 I am not sure if you've seen Boogie Fland play. He is a natural point guard 1st, whereas DJ is more of a Combo guard, which is why he struggled last year. Also, Boogie is a better outside shooter right now. I really think DJ needs to get out from under Cal and blaze a new path for himself where he will be the #1 option in the backcourt.

DJ should go to SC but will most likely go to Arkansas because calipari can really get him a bag via NIL. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes off in year 2. Would be great overall business wise on either side. And side note I hate these kids mentality these days. The transfer portal is the absolute worst thing that’s happened to college basketball like I get it but yeah it’s garbage. Not mad at the nil deals just the transfer stuff.

If DJ is only considering USC & Ark he should go to USC because like you said he will be in the same exact situation he was last year where he is not going to get the playing time he deserves Cal said he is not changing and Ark just gave Johnell Davis $1mil so it's a no brainer to me. He should stay at Ky since now they have hired coach Jason Hart he knows what it takes to get to the NBA!!!

I think it's going to be a tough road at USC. I believe Musselman has been oversold and I say that knowing he made two Elite Eights. He made his moves when he was one of the few coaches living on the transfer portal. Then all coaches got in that game and you saw the results his last two seasons. 13 total wins over his last two seasons out of 36 conference games. And this past season there were several really ugly blowouts with enough talent that they were predicted as a Final Four going into the season. Now he's in a tougher basketball conference. Arkansas will be loaded up. USC will not be. I'd say Wagner would get more minutes, more experience at USC just from the simple fact that he'd likely be an automatic starter, not so at Arkansas. So I say he goes to USC.
