I love how he started with small cars and now his moved up to getting VIP access before it hits the dealership keep moving up and keep up the good work
Some people prefer the TRX Some people prefer the Raptor But let’s admit, those 2 trucks are the most badass trucks in the world, no car company could make trucks like these
Man it’s crazy to think this man a year ago only had 25k subscribers and was a teacher. Your such a inspiration and you showed me that hard work pays off.
Seen a lot of Car reviewers posting the trx at the exact time as you but I couldn't click on their video because I felt as if I was cheating on you. I had to watch your video first thank you for all you do !
This is the proper RU-vid car/truck enthusiast’s comment section!! No hating or degrading another brand, just admiring insane engineering and technology those who are lucky enough to drive will cherish forever!! Keep up the amazing work.
@@RaitisRides you give GREAT AND AWESOME UNBIASED information about each vehicle that you do!! I respect what you do and the HARD work that you and your wife go through to put out these AMAZING review videos! THANK YOU SIR for all the HARD WORK, INFORMATIVE and HONEST reviews that you give us on each and every video!!!
Wow. I daid in the beginning you would hit 400k. Just never imagined it would be this quick. Wow great job watching you grow like qlmost 300k in a year an a half or so
Thanks for the post Joe! Been watching you for about a year now and seriously enjoying every one of your videos! Classic Italian "wise guy" humor all the time. I love it
They are putting so much horsepower in vehicles nowadays. I remember I ran into one of those track hawk supercharged jeeps in my modified C6 vett. I had no clue those things had over 700 hp and had a hard time losing it stop sign to stop sign. This truck is bad ass, thx for the review!
Man I’m not a truck guy at all but dam man that truck is beautiful and to see all the technological advancements in that 2021 is amazing. What more can can you ask for. Great review as always Raiti
At the precise moment this was posted, a screeching howl of bitter disappointment was heard all the way from a Ford Escape in Tennessee. Seriously, great truck, great review and great job, as always! 👏
Joe, I love your car reviews. Your energy is second to none when you show case vehicles. You're showing that U.S. vehicles has not giving up to foriegn competitors. I'm not a truck person but I would buy this one. Thanks Bro!
80% of drivers in my town drive Ram including myself. I’ve got the Ram Rebel 1500 with a V8 engine and I love everything about it. As for this video, the TRX Ram with 720 horsepower is going to be the next big thing that will make all off road trucks look so small. Wish I had the money for it.
Another job well done Joe, and if I’m not mistaken this is the first driving impression vid to hit RU-vid on that truck. Your a head of the pack as usual. Cheers 🍻
It's not that amazing. Wait for the raptor V8 it will rip TRX ass off.. 🤣🤣may be that time he will sell the first born(gt350) . Not for some gimmicky..
You delivered the GOODS!!! Great review! That exhaust note and blower whine are spot on in my opinion. For only a little bit more than you would pay for the Raptor you get so much truck and tech, not to mention Horsepower and Torque. If I ever have the funds to purchase a truck this is IT!!! Keep up the great content , we appreciate all the work you and your wife put into these videos
I was in love with Ford Raptor before with he amazing features in it and the abilities to drive on/off road with no doubt. But it until I got news about this huge beast of super truck, sir. Thnk you for reviewing and giving us honest opinions about this super truck, sir. Now I in love with this Ram Trx 6.2l ❤️
I dont like ram but I am happy they made this becuase competition is only good for the consumer because that means we are going to be getting the best from both companies
I know I might be slightly biased as a Chevy guy, but I know maybe one or two people with a Chrysler vehicle whose not having major issues every other week. Not as many major issues on the Fords I know people have, just minor stuff. I’ll stick to Chevy when I look to buy new
Great review as always, Ram is killing it with the interior and this TRX looks awesome on the exterior as well. With that said, I'm not blown away by the performance numbers. Zero to sixty, quarter mile and top speed I was expecting a little more. I know there is already a ton of aftermarket upgrades for that engine though. Thanks for sharing, great experience.
I figured this thing would be a insane beast of a performance truck. Raptor finally gets a different beast of competition with that hellcat V8. Ram did an excellent job on this one I'm blown away but not really too surprised tho.
@1:09 Thank you for telling all the haters out there that this truck isn’t just a Rebel with a drop in Hellcat. It’s more than that and they did a ton of engineering on this beast.
Yes I second this! So many ford fan boy haters out there hating this truck still saying their precious Raptor will still kill this truck. They spent years building and engineering this truck to be the ultimate truck. Not just some drop in motor 1500. If that were the case, they would have released it years ago.
RR reviews are 2nd to none and why I keep coming back! The TRX is the beast (& monster mall crawler) that will NEVER be in my driveway unless I’m sitting in the car watching this video 🤣🤣🤣
Love it! Dare I say it Might be the most badass production truck ever made! I can't think of anything at the moment that tops it, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway awesome video as always and glad you got to do some on throttle and spend time with your wife too
I’m a Ford guy but I don’t think Ford wanted to have competition in the first place Ford has been shining away from v8 engines and focusing on v6 eco boost the Trx gave the people a engine that they wanted now ford are gonna have to match them if they want to succeed hopefully they use that engine in the gt500 that would be very cool.
I highly doubt it has a significantly better fuel efficiency. I assume they both have 4.10 ratio (the Dana60 rear axle on the TRX maybe higher). 4.10 axle ratio on any vehicle is gonna be horrible on gas.
Harawanagangsta it’s something like 600lbs in weight difference, which nothing for a truck. As mentioned in my previous comment, perhaps the Dana 60 rear end has a higher axle ratio. Axle ratio determines a lot of the fuel economy. Even a regular half ton truck with 4.10 gears will get piss poor gas mileage while that same truck with 3.21 gears will easily achieve 27-28mpg.
Another great review! Didn't realize I wasn't subscribed for awhile... my bad. I was deciding between a TRX and a Gen 2 Raptor a few months ago and couldn't justify the TRX price. While you get the supercharged V8 (Ford please bring a V8 back), 85k+ just wasn't worth it. Especially with the dealer markups that I've seen. It's nuts! I was able to get a brand new 2020 802a Raptor for 66k out the door. Although it only has the Twin Turbo EB V6, I LOVE it! That huge price gap is the major difference why I don't see the TRX taking over this segment. Also, with the rumors of Ford going around, the TRX won't be on top for long! You're my go to channel for automative related things! Keep it up!
I'm not a Chrysler guy however with strong products like this, they will definitely bring new customers to the show room. This baby pushes a lot of buttons.. When they put in sliding / reclining rear seats they mean business. I always thought full cab trucks lacked that detail... really nice!
Its not the size of the ocean, its the motion of the ocean! That what Joe was saying to Laurie when he was in the back seat moving it back and forth! Love the video Joe!
If dodge was trying to “compete” with the raptor... They would’ve put the 6.4 hemi in there and maybe a hybrid version like what’s available in the rebel 5.7. Dodge is trying to crush the raptor
Starting a Friday with a Powepacked review from Joe Raiti makes the day go on FULL THROTTLE. I have been eagerly waiting for this review. Ram TRX is going to set a whole new milestone in the world of off-road driving. And soon the competition will get more exciting when Ford raises the bar. AWESOME REVIEW MATE. THANK YOU FOR A POWERFUL START OF THE DAY PAL.
FCA raised the bar for sure. This thing would get more attention than a Lambo right now. Love the interior, features, tech, engineering. These large vehicles must have some big profit margins.
Ram really knocked it out of the park with the TRX! It has everything you need and more. The price is the only negative. It’ll be interesting to see what Ford and others will do to counter, if anything. Thanks for sharing it Joe. Nice job Lori! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
I've watched reviews from The Straight Pipes, Bros Fourr Speed, Redline Reviews, Doug and Gold Pony. However I pretty much only watch your channel now. You're always entertaining and informative. I really get a kick out of what snacks you say you can fit in the spaces 😆. Thank you Raiti's Rides!! 👌👍
That color Blue is mine too 2020 Rebel 3.0 L eco Diesel When I parked my Truck everyone Recognized it, coz Hydraulic Blue was amazing Sports color thumbs up RAM
Very impressive. FCA's philosophy is to just give you lots of power. I think the Raptor will preform better in terms of what these trucks are designed to do. The interior is impressive and definitely where the Raptor is lacking. The price is outrageous, how ever there will definitely be a lot of people willing to go into debt for one of these. I think this might potentially boost sales of Raptors because they will seem like a bargain compared to these. Definitely excited to see what the next gen Raptor will bring.
Definitely my new dream car. I'm stuck with a 5.7 hemi jeep for now, but one day.... At least the power steering pump sounds like a supercharger when it gets worn out :S
It's defiantly a beast of a truck! Very excited to see what Ford does to counter punch the TRX! I'm literally waiting for the new Raptor to see what I'm going to buy.
I build these at FCA's Sterling Height Assembly Plant. I'm a proud employee to say the least. This truck is massive, its about 3 inches taller than your standard Ram 1500, and 8 inches wider. Sitting on the inside od the truck it has an old H1 Hummer feel. From the drivers seat you have to reach over to touch someone in the passenger.
@@RaitisRides earlier I used to think u r kinda lame. But now, I feel like I was wrong. Keep up the great content man👍(ik this is unnecessary info but I'm 15 and I wanna be a car journalist just like you)
*Freakin LOVE this TRUCK 👍👍👍* I printed out the steering wheel of the TRX and cut it out stuck it to my steering face So every time i drive i look at it and visualize that I Am already Driving it and how Amazing it will feel when i actually own it and Drive it! *Everyday affirmations* I Am so happy and greateful Now That I Now Own my Brand New RAM 1500 TRX TRUCK 👍👍
Love your knowledge of the vehicles you review before you film them. Show's you are a real professional. Love all your videos. You have a great partner too!
