@@user-dv1hu5vq5m I guess i could ask you the same question. The tensions between Romanians and Hungarians were a lot hotter years ago, things are way much calmer now. UDMR has been a well established party founded right after the revolution in Dec 89. Now speaking from personal experience, i went in holiday to Transilvania where in a petrol station and a hotel i’ve been spoken to in Hungarian instead of Romanian. They even refused to talk to me in Romanian until the managers have been called and intervened. So, you see, it’s little things like these that are not helping but on the contrary. If i was in Hungary and only speak Romanian and refused to speak Hungarian, i’m sure you and everyone else would not be happy with me. Again, the tensions are nowhere near what they once were, things have settled down over time. In the years after the revolution different minority groups were fighting for their place in Romanian society, a society who after 45 years of hardcore communism was finding itself lost and trying hard to find its way. The desire to join the EU gave Romania a target, something to work towards, something concrete to unite and achieve. Romania has changed a lot in the past years, is a more mature and established society now. Is it ideal or perfect, of course not but we can only try and work harder towards that. ‘The far-right movement in Romania has the same concerns as every other country in the EU, the invasion of our countries (encourages and supported by this neo-Marxist EU) by tens of thousands of people who simply are only causing all sorts of tensions, so i don’t want these people in Romania. These people are not welcome here, we don’t need them here. If the Romanian ‘far-right’ is concerned about a specific group of people they are those people. We MUST stand up to the EU and not allow them to ruin our society the way they have done to the western part of the continent. Immigration is just one issue, but there are others such as this draconian wokism they’re trying so hard to impose on us more and more by the day. So you see, we’re having a much bigger problem to deal with (the socialist EU), the Hungarian minority in Romania is not even an issue of much importance. As long as the Hungarians in Romania act as Romanian citizens which they are, nobody has a problem with them. When they refuse to speak Romanian and properly integrate in the Romanian society where they’re living in, this can only cause tensions and stir up old issues, this would not be a good thing for anybody. We have achieved a good and peaceful society together now, i’m sure we can keep it this way for the future.

I think the biggest problem is migration, because unlike the hungarians and romanians, the immigrants have different culture and not willing to adopt the european culture. Ofc there are few that willing, i have arab friends who speak hungarian and adopted culture, but not many. If not that is a huge relief for me because the transylvanians studying here are the most chill persons. Hungarians and romanians both. @@user-dv1hu5vq5m I’m not aware of any big potential issue that could come back to the surface especially that although the ‘far-right has gained more ground in Romania now (just like in most countries in Europe), they’re still in minority, the centrist coalition is still the majority unfortunately. They like to kiss the EU’s ass and quick to obey. So i really don’t see any issues between us coming returning. Hungarian or Arab or any other nation or creed, as long as you live in a different country you have to integrate and live in peace. Otherwise tensions are inevitable. This applies to everybody everywhere. Personally i believe that both Hungary and Romania have a much bigger problem to seal with - this woke, neo-Marxist, globalist, elitist, technocratic, ideological/dogmatic, power-hungry, dictatorial, socialist, controlling, LGBTQ worshiping illegal immigration supporter EU. This is the political monster we have to fight against, and together we can do more in this regard. I’d love to see the entire eastern block inited as one against this out of control EU.
