I only go in to ask if they have any retro stuff then leave if they don't, my local area has some solid games for the ps2. Sometimes you just gotta ask and if they're chill they will throw free stuff in, via empty cases and whatnot.

I wish my local one was like that, the people at my GameStop act like they are better than everyone because they work at GameStop which is strange to me

I love my GameStop store, my local store staff are always friendly. I would hate to see them close. But do agree they need to work on pricing

i am just so torn with gaming regardless or consoles and such, It feels all too much, or for myself growing up Blockbuster was cool Gamestop is nice but it’s just about feeling like prices will be keeping business fair or not sure whatever the plans are I have xbox or could try and sell/ Trade if I needed but miss PC gaming or having quick access or internet browser easily too

retro gaming or certain area’s, Things are not easy probably or face tons of challenges for any big company especially Gamestop but they have been around idk? Before I was born 2000, or so a couple years not sure

I used to go to GameStop when I was in little young I have not been in the GameStop we're talking a long time the problem is lower your freaking prices on games you would stay in business a lot more that's the issue and there was other issues with GameStop that's why they're hurting

midnight releases have to be approved by the developers, which most of the time now they do 9pm releases. Only nintendo still does midnight releases and nintendo has to give the ok to do it. Plus the elite pro membership has returned somewhat, since you now get 5% off all items in the store except new systems, games. Which does stack with coupons and any sales going on.

I'll be honest here........... I have not been to Gamestop in 7 years. The last time I bought something from Gamestop was on Monday November 20th, 2017, which was the day I bought my Nintendo 2DS XL & Pokémon Ultra Moon.

Honestly, this is just me saying this, GameStop is like every other store in America, but, at times their reputation has been all over the place, I will say they won't close in 2024, in the near future yes

I think GameStop has become too corporate for gamers and it has hurt their reputation for sure
