His comp is a Mexican from Mexico City and the other 2 elders in their house were from Peru and Brasil so Ram is in a no English situation 🤣 I served in Belem Brasil back in the day that’s kinda closer to your mission. Get well & be good 😜 BTW my mom grew up in Roundup Montana 50 miles from Billings. I used to go fishing up there with my grandparents when I was a kid. Went through the temple for my first time In Billings so grandma and grandpa could be with me. Anyway tell Kelsey to have a good time up there Take care Ramzi

I was diagnosed with Gallbladder Stones at the age of 12. It took them about 6 weeks to find out what was going on and I was in and out of the hospital until I had the worst episode ever & they finally found out and I was scheduled for surgery the next day. It was so bad. Mine were also at night!!! Makes no sense. It’s so much pain though. I can eat anything now, just need to be careful. I also take Omeprazol 40mg either everyday before breakfast, or before I eat spicy / sour. Get better soon!!!!! I was 12 when I had the surgery and now i’m 21.

I had my Gallbladder removed after 3 ER visits. I had several stones one was the size of a quarter. You’ll quickly learn what foods you can or cannot tolerate. For me Tomato’s as well as Eggs caused problems. 20 years later, I can eat both with no problems. I was 28 when I had my surgery.

I had to change my whole diet because I was having issues with acidic things like tomatoes or ketchup and black pepper and im dairy sensitive now no matter what kind. Then after a few years for just me probably my body stopped being able to break some things down so now I can't eat things like popcorn or corn or nuts and obviously nothing deep fried greasy and I can't have any red meat now so just fish chicken pork and my favorite beyond burger. I'm sure im missing some things too but just go slow and small amounts not often its all trial and error. I've known people who after they heal a few months later they can get away with alot more than I and some people never have any problems. Unfortunately for myself I feel like I've had more health problems after that over the years but I've made it through it all and will continue to ❤🙏🏻

I spent my entire senior year having attacks. Mind you this is just when they started using the scope. I was scheduled for surgery meanwhile had to have emergency surgery. I have a 7in scar. I was not a candidate for the scope. I had many large stones and my gallbladder was very diseased. They say it can be heritable my mom was 19 her sister 20 and I was 18. far as food going through you most doctors don’t agree on that being a post surgery. try eating binding foods like rice with your meals. Good luck

I would definitely recommend a carnivore diet honestly- definitely want to chill out on oxalates and if you are ingesting, potatoes, or kale, etc make sure you boil it to reduce the amount of oxalates in it and hopefully that’ll help as well. There are claims out there that high animal proteins contributes to high amounts of uric acid but in my opinion, I wouldn’t follow that too much ;) 😅

Thanks for the update. Your health is the most thing in your life right now. I think you may want to consider continuing your mission in the US. You will be close to medical facilities here if anything should happen. The chances of getting parasites here is minimal. I think you are most likely still covered under your parent's health plan since most plans cover adult children up to the age of 26. As always, please be healthy, happy and safe.

Raw Apple cider vinegar (with the mother) and Beets help keep your bile more liquid (ie: less stones). I drink 1 tsp acv in a small glass water. Also mix it with Apple cider (half water + half juice + acv). I did it when I would feel the tightness across my upper back. I would also grate a beet and add acv to it and put it on salads. You can also eat it straight. Both of those things will help you not develop gall stones. God bless you on your healing journey and getting back out on your mission, where ever you are sent. 😁 We are waiting for my son's call. It has been 10 days since his papers were turned in! 🙏😁

Eatting an anti-inflammatory diet. Seeing a doctor who knows nutrition. Your parents are good at being open to the healthy track as medicine along with your doctor. There has to be balance. My daughter had an auto immune and thank God for the GI doctors. They played a part that was very important. She came out to the other side with nutrition. She read everything.... there is so much good info out there. I am confident you and your family are on this. You will find your balance. Your brother and parents are awesome! Along with your sweet sister and Dal. We can't forget precious Kesley!

I’ve heard from someone I know with out a gallbladder that taking a digestive enzyme before eating a meal helps drastically. It will help break down the food for easier digestion, but does NOT cause diarrhea. I take a good quality one from Melaluca and it has been life changing! Can’t live with out it. Makes a huge difference. (I have my gallbladder, but I have Crohn’s.) Also, if you have a lot of inflammation in other organs, I highly recommend only taking Tylenol as a pain reliever. Anything else will cause inflammation. Also, I know it’s hard, but staying away from sugar would help greatly as well.

I still one in a while get the pain and yes even without your gallbladder you can still gey attacks. If the pain happens get checked out. I definitely say gallstones is the worst pain ever. I have crohns disease and had my large colon removed. I have had hernia surgery. Gallstones still no1 fir pain. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago at thanksgiving at age 21. It is the worst pain ever and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I had one attack and emergency surgery the next day. Fortunately I felt much better after surgery. Fried foods give me a more bloated feel than before. I can’t really tell much difference in the speed of digestion. Overall I am glad mine is gone. If you are on a whole foods diet, you should be just fine. Hope my insight is helpful Brock!

I got mine out and before I wasn’t able to eat. Now dairy sometimes doesn’t sit right. Specifically ice cream. However after healed I didn’t realize how much having a bad gallbladder actually affected my life for the negative. So it’s a blessing it got taken out! Is it possible that some of your stomach inflammation could have to do with the parasites? Not a doctor or heard of that but it was just another ailment you went through so was curious if that was a possibility.

My husband almost died waiting to have his gallbladder removed because of complications from previous surgery a specialist had to do surgery. But his recovery was pretty good and he was told he could now eat whatever he desired within reason but wouldn’t have the same problems as before because it’s gone remove so all the food attacks go to. Personally I think you’re reading too much into what ifs. Just relax and go easy take it slow you will learn but you will not suffer that pain again. Good luck speedy recovery ❤️

Hers was removed aswell and be prepared it doesn’t happen to everyone but stuff in the future can be caused by gullstimes not as bad as gullible stones but my mom had something about a month after her surgery or so related to the stones
