This “Hel” concept is very true in Norse mythology, and also similar to that of Greek/Roman mythology. Read Rick Riordan’s books, mostly the Percy Jackson Series, the Heros of Olympus Series, and the Magnus Chase Series. These books all reference Hel, along with being able to travel there and back as a living soul, but usually is where the dead are located as spirits/ghosts. If someone dies heroically, however, they go to a version of heaven, and can even become a human form on earth and travel to the other realms. I’m quite caught up in these types mythology and stories so this theory is relevant or possible and could be true.

If the story goes into Hel to bring everybody back - I think that Hela would be brought back because of the choice, that Thor has to make: not bring anyone back or bring everyone back, that would include Hela. Because moral choices, I want them somewhere at least, in modern days they are so scarce in culture :(

Thanos could be a farmer in Endgame. If you look at the environment Thanos was in at the end in Infinity War, it kinda looks like a place for a farm

Interesting theory. It seems sound, but there is one thing that is glossed over. Helas power comes from Asgard, which was subsequently destroyed. If Hela is in Hel, she hasn’t got the power to do anything. Perhaps to add to the plot of Thanos and Hela teaming up, Thanos brings Asgard back so Hela can have her power again?

Big problem is that they established that the bulk of Hela's power was drawn from Asgard the physical location. A place that got blown to bits. Thanos isnt going to bring back a location he feared to challenge meaning Hela stays weakened and is therfrore not worth Thanos' time

6:40 that depends on your perspective of Norse mythology, both on the blackboard and in some Norse stories Helheim is completely separate from Niflheim. However this depends on whether or not Nidavellir and Svartalfheim are considered the same place as some people claim dwarves and dark elves are the same thing. This doesn't seem to be the case with the MCU as dark elves and dwarves are clearly different races, though I don't understand why Eitri was depicted as massive. Dwarves have always been shown to be small, even in Norse mythology.

Odin has the infinity gauntlet because he once wanted to get all the gems but did not succeed and has the gauntlet as an reminder, that’s how hela knows about it. I’m pretty sure when hela destroyed the ceiling we saw Odin with a gauntlet

Dont think Thanos watching the sunrise meant only that. He meant that he will have completed his task and can rest for a while. So his to do list is full of netflix and chill. This theory might come true if she comes back and finds him and manipulates him, but I don't think he will go and search for her as he feels he has done his part to save all life

I have a question. How many people would be killed from the aftermath of killing half of the universe? I’m sure there would have been people driving with passengers that poofed into dust. Also if an infants parents poofed and no one was left of that family to take care of them then there’s a chance that no one will notice the infant. Also if law enforcement was poofed away in a city wouldn’t help anything... the list goes on

From an interview, Joss Whedon said he wasn't sure where he would've taken Thanos if he were to direct Infinity War, but he would most probably do the Thanos/Death storyline, which was already set up in the first Avengers movie (the line, "...to court Death."). This is interesting. But it could've been a very boring movie. I think we got a great Thanos in the MCU, whose love is only for his daughter, and I wouldn't change that.

Seeing as the asgardians aren't really gods but are rather thought of as gods by humans, I don't see Hela acting as the real "keeper of the dead." Hel is more of a outside deminsion prison and being the godess of death is more of a title for how brutal she is.

I very much like this theory but I do see there is a lady death already in the movie. Lady death the women he loves was gamora we saw him cry for her that's why the scene where baby gamora asking him what he had to give up for it was so big. He gave everything and she was pleased with this that's why I see her as death.

I like it but Hela is over 1500 years old, we know this cause Thor says he is at least that old. She has been imprisoned for that long as well, cause he never knew she existed. If she was imprisoned that long there is no way for Thanos to meet Hela before she died.

there is a theory that Hela didn't die because at the beginning of Ragnarok when she returns she makes a dark green portal and if you pause the movie at the right time in the final battle just before the sword hits you see a flash of green light the same colour so she might have teleported

Actually, in (true) Norse myth, helheim is the place the regular dead go. Instead of Hela, Hel is the goddess of death. Niflheim is where the dwarves live, and it's the Nine Worlds, not the Nine Realms. Also Loki is on the bad, world destroying side of Ragnarok. The Nine Worlds are: Asgard (the home of the Aesir), Vanaheim (the home of the Vanir), Alfheim (the home of the light elves), Midgard (the home of the humans), Jotunheim (the home of the giants), Nidavellir (the home of the dwarves), Niflheim (the world of ice, fog, and mist), Muspellheim (the home of the fire giants and demons), Helheim (the home of Hel and the dishonorable dead) In this case dishonorable just means that they didn't die an heroic death, which was very important to the Vikings.

If you have a way of pausing or letting that scene play out slowly, as soon as Surtur plunges his sword down, you see a flash of green right before it touches. In my opinion, I think she teleported out of there just before the impact.
