The Lilac Dior blush is gorgeous -- it is my new must wear blush. subtle yet so right. I'm finding Chantecaille too expensive mostly - I pick up an item here and there and love their hibiscus mask and hand retinol but nothing in this collection is a must buy for me esp at their prices.

Oh-you look lovely, Allison! Did you use the lilac mascara on your bottom lashes in this look? I’m excited to see the Guerlain lipsticks (esp the satin colors) and will most likely get a case as well. The marble and gold looks beautiful, but my inner magpie is really drawn to the one with the crystals!! 😂✨ I appreciate the idea of the Chantecaille makeup and components, but not the price tag. The makeup that I’ve tried from them does not have good color payoff, and even if you can get the payoff you’re looking for, it does not last. Sigh. There is something I’m interested in trying that you hadn’t mentioned (I only just heard about it on the Beautiful & Bothered podcast)…Bella Hadid has 3 perfumed oil sprays that sound gorgeous. I’m hoping there’s a discovery set so I can try all 3! Thanks for another fabulous video, and I hope you have a great week!!

Inner magpie 😂 That is such a good line! I will skip the Chantecaille collection because everything looks like repeats of older collections and the packaging doesn't look that amazing. I am wearing the lilac mascara on the bottom lashes - it's the only way that I can make it work. I did see that she launched a new perfume line but I'm pretty over celebrity lines, they're rarely spectacular.

I have the Dior Lilac blush, lip maximizer, and lipstick. Love them all! I wish I had bought the lilac nail polish that was part of the spring collection. Everything else is a non merci for me.

I'm interested in the Chantecaille blushes! They look really pretty 😊and I love baked gelee formulas. I find the RMS blushes underwhelming in formula... Too much pigment, don't actually blend that well and definitely not blurring /smoothing. A baked gelee formula is superior in those aspects

Guerlain collection💄a sales assistant informed me they were launching more lipsticks as I was interested in a case but hesitate at the time with their lack of satin lipstick colours so can't wait to see them all. Been enjoying watching your content back to back with my morning coffee this wknd ☕ love watching in the morning with a cuppa but with our time differences, it makes it more possible like that. Yes it would be a crime if they didn't fit! I've always liked tweed fabric so the original red tweed one keeps calling me but I'm trying not to weaken unless they bring me some colours I like. With 40 to choose from I hope I at least like a couple lol. Not bought a lippee in ages, so feeling the need 😆

Great video, FYI I just returned a Tom Ford parfume - Soleil blanc- it was really not long lasting so the new all over spray are probably even less long lasting so … non merci! 😉 I agree with Allison, the limited collection start to fall on my nervs…another marketing tactic… 🤷‍♀ Anyway, great video! 👍

The strobe hourglass is awful on me. Highlights all my textures and pores on my skin. Even the consultant said, 'did I want to take them off' 😒

The Chantecaille bronzer is supposed to more golden than Sirena. Surprisingly, when I checked the website, their original 2 bronzers are no longer there!

I'm using the new Armani blush tint and it's lovely in Bold Pink. I put it on directly and then use a brush to blend in. Like the Chanel water fresh blush, you have to blend quickly!

Great tip! Thanks for sharing that. I never had tremendous success with the water fresh blush, it often moves around the makeup underneath it.

Thank you Allison, loved your look today. Definitely need to do a GRWM video for that please. Not much is appealing to me at the moment. With respect to Hourglass, I have their Ambient Lighting Palette (3 shades) and I love it. I use as contour/bronze to warm up my face, blush, highlighter and even eyeshadow because I’m so pale. May try the Dior lilac blush 😊 💜

I did pick up the DIOR Lilac collection. The blush is not as bright and deep in the palette as in the picture. It is much more subtle. I really like it, but my skin tone is light. You may want to check out some swatches. The lip oil is great. I’m going back and forth on the Chanticaille collection. The blush is tiny and all of the items are SO expensive for what you get, even for luxury. So I think I’ll be passing. I’ll be interested in seeing the new colors of the Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks (I hope they are the same design and fit the old cases too). I will pass on the new cases. None of them is really calling to me.

That’s fair! A lot of the Chantecaille collection looks like repeats from them so it’s not very exciting. The Dior lilac collection looks pretty but I’ll swatch it before buying.

Alli, I’m loving the pink and purple look💜💗. I honestly think you will love the Dior Pink Lilac blush, I don’t even like Dior blushes and I really like this one. Also, with Hourglass maybe wait for the holiday palettes to come out, those usually have two or three blushes, bronzer, face powder, and highlighter! Kind of what you stated you want. The hourglass powders are stunning, just VERY luminous for summertime 😶. I like them better for fall! 🤭

Oh thank you! 💜💗 I think I'll recreate this look because I love it so much. I like the Dior blush formula so I will more than likely get the lilac shade, it just looks so unique. I'lll wait and see for the Hourglass palettes but I would rather get a permanent edition palette. I'm kind of over the nonstop limited edition.

Hi Ali! I was loyal to Chantecaille for years. I still love their Future Skin foundation and use their liquid cheek blushes and some of their lip chics. But I have found since the company was sold their products are hit or miss now. Disappointing because they r expensive. So I’m passing. I do like the Dior, it’s a perhaps for me. 😅 enjoy ur day. I feel like the TF body sprays in those scents have been out before and wonder if they’re just rebranded 🤔 I personally think that Lost 🍒 which I own, doesn’t last on skin at all therefore a spray to layer with is probably a good idea. My daughter actually has a dupe of it and it smells the same but lasts so much better. I do love that the new Guerlain cases seem to be gold 🤩

Bonjour, Pour les rouges G...nouveaux boitiers et nouveaux rouges...non compatibles avec les précédents. Ils sont plus légers. Il y a des satinés et des mats. Tout a été refait en fait. On passe de l'argenté au doré (plus raccord avec les autres rouges avec des boitiers tous dorés). Merci pour toutes tes vidéos ☺

Lots to talk about here! Love the designs on the Guerlain cases. I sincerely hope that there will be a good range of colors. I like the Guerlain but most of the lipstick colors did not work for me…either to warm, to dark etc. Do you prefer Guerlain lip oils or the Dior lip oils? I have the Dior lilac blush and lip addict. May get the maximizer. Love the Chantecaille blushes. Ordered the peach shimmer. Was thinking about Dior poppy coral but feel Chantecaille would be a better color for me. I adore Chantecaille. I was told the bronzer was a possibly a new shade. I won’t be purchasing it because I want to try the RMS and I have couple that are my go to favorites. Prada lip balms are intriguing but the colors from the promo pic and what they look like on semi very off. Waiting for a review before deciding… Thank you for keeping us updated on new releases. @@AllisonChasethey almost doubled the price on the cases, also increased the lipstick prices. You can't use the old cases... This goes far far beyond inflation. It's plain greed to ensure the company makes more profit year after year despite an economic crisis and leadership gets their millions of bonuses. Not on my wallet and not for a very generic lipstick ..they think we're dumb sheep 🙄

Hi. The Chantecaille bronzer seemed to be Sirena but on the site they are calling it by a different name. That would be very off to rename the same product so I’m assuming the shade is different. The Givenchy mascara is the only item on my radar

I am really confused by the Guerlain cases. Some of them are already in the collection- the white marble, red leather and I think the rose beige one. The other styles are new. What is going on?

I don’t know what’s going on either. One person commented that the new cases are available and someone else said that the new cases and lipsticks will not be compatible with the older versions 🤷🏻‍♀️
