Its the label/judgement to the thought that is the ocd, not the thought itself :) Thats how i see the acceptance and how i see "getting better" :)

my daughter seen some1 when she was young they told her to use elecastic band she had to stop it was hurting her she did not go back

I've asked that too. My OCD specialist therapist said that that question in and of itself is the OCD trying to trick you. The thought that it might be something else is OCD. She also taught me that any question that begins with "what if?" is anxiety/OCD-related. Hope this helps a bit!
