Interference Paints on a Bottle Bottom Pour! Acrylic Pouring/ Fluid Art
So I tried using interference paints on a bottle bottom pour and it came out amazing! I knew that I would have to use black under every color in order to make the paints work, so I did, but I was afraid that it would make the painting too dark. It didn't! The colors are bright and beautiful!
I mixed my paints with a touch of gel medium and then added 3 parts Floetrol. I left out the Pearl medium :)

Thank you! The convexo canvases that i have are leftovers from awhile back. I use them sparingly lol. Ya I can't find them either right now. I get mine from Jerry's Artarama and the website shows they are supposed to get some in January. Check there ❤

Hello! I appreciate your kind words ❤ I do take the time to try to make my idea in my head match what happens on the canvas. Well the convexo that I used is one that I bought about a year ago. I bought it from Jerry's Artarama (online) they have been out of stock since. I did see that they had posted that they are hoping to have more inventory this month. I would try there. Hi Kathy. Thank you! These are actually Deco Art Media Interference paints. I've had them for awhile so I'm not sure that they make them anymore but I did find a few colors on Amazon to buy. Sorry I didn't mention the maker of the paints in this video, I did on the prior marble roll video. Thanks for watching

What is interference paint

Its a polymer emulsion paint containing titanium, coated with mica flakes. In layman's terms: a paint that will change color when applied over black due to the light waves.
