Iran's state media reported loud explosions in the sky near Isfahan city. Tehran said air defense systems at a nearby military base and nuclear facility were activated.
Two US officials told CBS News that a suspected Israeli missile struck Iran overnight. A spokesman for Iran's space agency said several drones had been intercepted, but claimed that there had been no missile attack. The International Atomic Energy Agency added that no Iranian nuclear facilities were damaged. The Israeli government has not officially commented on the incident.

Gotta leave open the possibility that maybe it was a stray Hamas rocket! Because, you know, Hamas is the source of all evil and all the problems in the world right now and since the beginning of time. Poor Israel has to deal with them with just billions in dollars of funding from the U.S. annually. Or maybe the Iranians fired rockets on themselves and just pretended that it was Israel so that they can say it was Israel. And it was probably also Iran who initially attacked and killed their own military officers just to blame Israel. You never know!!!

Iran announce the attack in the open, therefore, confirmed iranian attack Israel hasn't announced anything yet, but it looks exceedingly like them, so suspected Israeli attack, there's nothing wrong with that. They're not trying to make it look like it's not israel.

I think you know is really means the opposite. When there's no direct fighting between Israel and Iran, it means Iran keeps attacking Israel via Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, and Ansar Allah, with none of the retaliation harming Iran directly. "De-escalation" is obviously a better deal for Iran than for Israel.

It's actually the other way around. If "de-escalation" means that Israel and Iran don't fight directly, it means that Iran keeps attacking Israel via Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, and Ansar Allah, without suffering any retaliations directly on Iran. This is a great deal for Iran; not so great for Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, etc.

Since so many people don't know better, I spell it out. The "suspected" part is legalese, it just means Israel did not take responsibility for it officially and/or DW could not verify all the information. It is the same when news say someone did a crime "allegedly" before a court ruling. It's not stupidity when they don't want to get sued or to be reported for misinformation.

It appears both countries are acting like commodians, when projectiles passing over 2000 km to hit each other passing 7 hours between two countries. US and allies have fed up and exhausted stock of arms at Ukraine and Israel become 24/7 fighting, as the war become economic doldrum never ending. Israel should realise war is very expensive game also to apply diplomatic MGT and statesmanship more than hostility. 350 projectiles tined to arrive at the same time was an attempt to overwhelm Israel's air defences and do real damage, those missiles carried 900pounds of explosive. Iran's ineptitude is on show both in the attack and the defence. Your interpretation of events is woeful.

Paradigm shift, By destroying the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Israel broke international law and endangered world peace. Iran responded in a very balanced way by using its old drones and missiles to do little damage. If Israel once again celebrates aggression, it will definitely be excluded from the world community. Iran will be a far more attractive partner for the US in the Persian Arab region than Israel. Israel will have to accept this, unless it wants to risk an Iran-Israel war, but that would also mean the end of Israel. A paradigm shift is currently taking place and that is encouraging. But what we need now is the UN's irrevocable recognition of the Palestinian state so that the Palestinian population can live in security, self-determination and freedom
