It's funny how they're all seemingly coming at once as well! Of course Paralives was initially announced quite a few years back now, but EA has gone for a very long time with no competition. I'm very interested to see what becomes of the Sims 5/Project Rene. Ultimately I do want to see it become a good game, I hope the competition pushes EA to do better.

@@CozyBug-they came out all at once because other developers were paying attention, and EA showed weakness with their immense greed. It's an opportunity that left alot of room for others to win over the existing playerbase. "Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather." I can only wonder how many of these new contenders will simply go down the same route as EA.

It will be interesting to see another big company really go head to head with EA. I did think originally it would be Paradox with Life By You, considering the big name behind it, but LBY does seem to be in a bit of a tough spot at the moment (I'm still rooting for the game though haha) But the inZOI team seems like they know what they're doing are extremely talented, and thinking big. If they can break into the western audience I can see them being huge competitors.

I'm here because I enjoy playing a game, which is The Sims4. Sure, it has it's issues, but my game is still VERY much playable and I want to continue playing. Why do I, and others like myself, have to lose out playing the game because others feel it 'has to go?' Why can't those players go? Meaning, if YOU are no longer satisfied with said product, you are very capable of taking your time, interest, and monies elsewhere. I think it’s great that they all look different while not diverting too much from what we all want inside a life simulation, it means that all of us are probably gonna have at least one of them that it’s REALLY great for us individually and I think that could really be a huge advantage for every type of player. No, it's not 'other sims players are waking up to that'. To what, exactly? They buy what they want, EA never forces you to buy. Not everyone's game is giving them problems....it's only the jaded, self-entitled, 'listen to us' Sims haters that are having the most issues with their game. Putting any and everything in it for more 'fun'..only corrupting it more..then have nerve to blame EA cause your 10,000+ mods/cc broke your game. Playing 100 baby challeges, and adding more than the limit to apartment levels, and you all expect to never have issues??? Or, mods and their codes conflicting with other codes in the game, wreaking havoc throughout.. You are JUST as responsible for taking care of your own, individual game just as much as EA is. @SimlikeitHot the game incorporates AI in the character design function and the build/buy mode but it's not. There are plenty of playthroughs on the beta version to see that the whole thing is not AI. The graphics mirrors that of other games from that company/ the developer has worked on

Probably only 2 people (if that many) developed the entire game. Don't be fooled. Some people don't care about the loss of jobs taken from human development, only wanting 'the best life sim game one can offer'..with THE most realistic graphics that 'The Sims could never'....welcoming faster tech with nothing but bots on the room.. So glad you enjoyed my video! I was surprised not many other creators covered the two part video with the inZOI dev. It definitely was a more challenging watch, being in Korean and having to try and understand the video through subtitles but I do hope more people start to pick up on the game! I'm so glad you enjoyed my video! I'm really surprised there haven't been more channels picking up on new information. So many channels have gone quiet on inZOI since the initial demo playtest videos from 3 months back. It is funny that there's quite a few people who have this all or nothing approach when it comes to the new life sims in development. They can only be excited for and support one game. I agree with you! I'm excited for them all. I have supported Paralives on their patreon since 2019, I've followed every update on LBY since it's initial teaser announcement back last March, I had the opportunity to playtest the Vivland build/buy demo before it's public release and give my feedback to the developers. I think each game is bringing something unique to the table. I hope this doesn't disappoint you but unfortunately inZOI isn't coming out in April! They are just planning on releasing more information about the game in April. I know not everyone will watch/be able to watch the interview (Trying to understand it though subtitles can be a challenge) so I wanted to do what I could to help get some of that information across a little easier. The Sims 3 will forever and always be my favorite Sims game

I suspect a higher end pc probably will be needed. Mine is probably overkill though haha. But it'll be interesting to see what the minimum specs are once the game is finished and optimized. And thank you!

Yes, it's especially hard with their videos being in Korean as well. And I have! I've made a shorter video already covering Vivaland+the build demo. I actually had the opportunity to playtest the build/buy demo before it was released publicly and give my feedback to the developers so that was a really fun opportunity. I plan to continue covering Vivaland as more information is released! I really hope we get more information on the games live mode soon. I'm really excited as well for this new era of lifesims!

How can a game you can easily walk away from, have you in a 'chokehold??'

I honestly think LBY characters could be helped by being more stylized as they are just missing the bar on realisim enough to look bad. And i am not saying go disney dreamlight valley. But Sims 2 characters were very stylized but not in the bubbly way of Sims 4 characters (because stylization has MANY styles). And I think LBY character models are close on the spectrum to Sims 2 skeletal wise. I don’t like the descriptor "Cartoony" because it’s basically a non-descriptor. Loony Toons, Batman the animated series, and The Clone Wars are all animated series with very different stylization to their character models.

I'm just glad I bought a new gaming computer I can upgrade because I plan to play them all. They all appeal to me in different ways.

I just looked into this, so according to inZOIs FAQ section of their discord, they are planning on initially releasing the game on PC and "Is later expected to be on consoles like PS5 and Xbox"

So, just based on it's looks, will make it a good game and competition against a game that's always put down for just being 'pretty?'

I don't care why other people put the Sims down, I care that the customization of the world and Sims is limited and expensive. open world with customization and basic features in the base game, THAT'S what I think makes a good game and that's why it's in contention for me.

First saying aesthetics and customization are important in Sims, to then say that they're limited and expensive on these things, then say it's important for the basegame, which you do not know that Inzoi will have any of these things upon release. @@SimlikeitHot Over the years The Sims 4 has got an incredibly expensive and the quality has suffered immensely. basic life simulator features you have to buy. even when they come out with new things it breaks the things you already have in the game. The Sims IS customizable but it is lacking. that's why this new game is more interesting to me. I've watched many game previews with the developers and gamers that have said that the things that I like such as character customization, and world customization will be in the base game, along with other basic life simulator traits. Just because your basic knowledge of this game is limited, doesn't mean mine is. it's a life simulator, customization and aesthetics are important I want it to look like my real life as much as possible. who wants to play a life simulator that looks like crap and without simple things like whether, babies or the ability to walk around.

I mention at the end of my video that more information on the game is supposed to be coming out sometime this month (April)! They have said they plan to release an early access version of inZOI sometime towards the end of this year but there is no specific date yet :)

If it is any consolation,they do have inbuilt filter tools that change the graphics of the game to cartoony, but I can at least say,I am glad we have more options now,paralives has cartoony graphics,vivaland has something similar to Sims graphics,tiny life,Sunnyside,LBY,live the life,Farm simulator ..all these are great games coming out in the nearest future and I am rooting for them all alongside Inzoi..

What has it become?? Cause my game (Sims4) still works just fine...playing now actually. Y'all really need to stop playing your world's smallest violins about The Sims4. It's an old game, with issues...and? Y'all act like things don't get old. It's like making your 97 year great- grandmother run as fast as you. The team have taken a lot of feedback on that point in their official discord and have said they're continuing to work on their character creator to include more diversity! (Working on western faces/POC hairstyles ect) The do seem to understand the importance of customization like that :)

First of all, it's perfectly okay for you not to care about inzoi,every game has to appeal to a certain set of people...but I will like to correct some misinformation and definitive statements that has NOT been confirmed by the DEVS,so people who read your comment won't jump into conclusions without researching by themselves... 1) The animations were made quickly because they use MOTION CAPTURE!!!...This means actual people put on a suit and act out the animations,that is why it is very high quality,mostly seamless and means more jobs for the people that do the actual acting... 2)The game is still in the alpha stage,No!!! You would not need a super computer to run it cause they are currently working on optimizing the game,if you actually watched the interview you would see that the devs mentioned using the latest technology like lumen and nanite to make the game more optimized for more PCs,where is this definitive statements coming from? At least wait till they release the actual specs of the game... 3) Multiplayer is not even integrated into the game yet,they are actively building on single player first and later on multiplayer will definitely be optional,every thing you've seen till this moment have all been single player based,they are not blind to the needs of the community,the Dev is a sims player himself. 4) Same sex coupling is already present in the game,and it's in ALPHA,these devs do not discriminate,everyone assumes because they are Korean they are automatically discriminatory,which is very racist in my opinion,watch some playthroughs and you will see that same sex coupling does not matter in the game cause you can romance any gender you want...Sims gave us this years after the game was released,and Sims is a western game!!! Lastly do you know that EA laid off hundreds of devs in the past few weeks and now they announced they will be using AI for the development of their games,meanwhile Inzoi devs are currently massively employing devs,mods and cc creators to work for them...The western companies have the worst practices yet everyone is piling on a Korean company doing the right thing cause of racism...we really need to pull our selves out of our bubbles and actually see the world outside of the US....
