From Powermate: Single tool use: If a 1/2" impact wrench requires 5.0 CFM @ 90 PSI, then the compressor should deliver between 6.25 - 7.5 CFM @ 90 PSI. Multiple tool use: If you plan to run more than one tool at the same time, you must add the CFM of each tool together to determine your needs.
You got it. I’ll make a video on that & upload in a few days. Really convenient to have that plug. Works well for charging too. I just attach a portable solar panel/charge controller unit to it when we’re parked for long periods. Gotta keep those truck batteries fully charged.
I agree. So handy. I have the Gen3 M18 for my business. Super impressive impact driver. The M18 1/2” drive Mid Torque is a great tool for the shop as well. Great battery life.
I think your hose mod/chuck will end up destroying that compressor, or you will blow the pressure relief valve. Without a pressure switch you need air to be able to pass through the chuck when not in use.
I have a Harbor Freight 1/2" electric impact. I think it's rated at 230 Ft. Lbs. It works good enough for the few times I use it. With the camper on and my Honda 2K, I just plug 'er in and start blowing lugnuts off, or whatever else. www.harborfreight.com/12-in-heavy-duty-electric-impact-wrench-61173.html
