hey mate, When you were using the electrical contact cleaner what exactly did you clean? and how did you do it, Also is snipping a bit off the end of the spark plug safe?
I unplugged all the connector blocks and cleaned them with the contact cleaner and shipping a bit of the spark plug wire is safe make sure ignition is of the
bro my scooters clutch went out i ordered a new clutch and variator. installed them and it fired up no problem. then shut it off and tried tot ake it for a ride and it wouldnt start, just turns over. i go to pull the spark plug and i dropped it and cant find it anywhere. just ordered a new one. im hoping thats what it is but i have no clue
Plz help... scooter sat for awhile. Cleaned carb it looks spotless...it idles fine...give it any throttle at all it dies right away...fuel bowl is full... if i detach vacuum line idle goes way up... im lost
Ps I just watch you check the oil and you don't screw it in to check it you just stick the stick in and don't screw it . This will give you the true oil check.
Can I just say that when testing a spark-plug 1. it needs to go against a bare metal area - not painted like the frame, and 2. you need to make contact with the outer part of the plug ( outer electrode) and not the inner electrode.
We had one back in the day it stayed in my garage filthy with spider webs and rust and all sort of dirt I cleaned it yesterday and made it look new tomorrow am going to get in some gas and it’s ready to go it hasn’t been on for 2 years and I turned on as soon as I tried to turn on

A phew things I would check personally is your rollers and belt maybe the carb needs cleaning when was the last time you changed oil spark plug and air filter could be something so simple like air filter little bit clogged
Can you point me in the direction please , I'm after a cheap chinese exhaust that will fit my lexmoto titan 125 (2019) I've got somebody that's going to weld me a bung and tap a lambda sensor on . Just cannot afford the ridiculous prices of a new one , so an eBay special that will fit with some modification required . Keep up the good videos and if you can help it'd be much appreciated
Pro tip: always drain the fluids,esp. The gas . Ethanol will always clog the carburetor if scoot sits more than 2 months. Also deep clean the carb. Cheers
Yo g I got a fmr 50 it’s got spark it’s got fuel to the carb it’s spotless before you ask lol but just won’t fire I’m thinking timing cos I’ve put fuel in the bore and still nothing just coughed and smoked like yours did When it died but it just won’t run
@@DTMotorcyclesEssex I ain’t got one bro see it feels like it’s weak but not bad ya get what I mean it turns over okay with the plug out I can feel compression and it’s either valves or timing and tbh I ain’t got the Interest or the motivations on it to bother looking I’m gonna swap it with a mate of mine who’s got a 250 quad road legal just used off road needs a lower wishbone nut that’s all so fuck it this owes me 55 quid and that’s gotta be worth more than this lol
