Will it Run? Can we get this 1949 Cadillac 331 OHV V8 started right here as it sits on this wooden stand?..... and more importantly can we do it without burning down the Classic Nation shop?!
The Cadillac 331 debuted in 1949 and was the first GM overhead valve V8. It made more power, weighed less and was more compact than any of its flathead predecessors. This one ins mostly original but was likely tucked away and forgotten as a spare. It came with our LT1 swapped Series 62 1949 Cadillac convertible. Let's see how it runs.
