Getting it running right where it set, driving it out and then the pressure washing... so satisfying.

Great video. I smiled when you drove it out of the barn. Really enjoying your work. My grandmother had a '67 Chevy II in the medium blue metallic. Even with four doors, dog dish hubcaps, and a six cylinder, it was still a really cool car in the 80's when I drove it. Literally the little old lady car with low miles and almost mint condition. My parents sold it when I went away to college in '83 unfortunately. I always regretted that we didn't hold onto that car.

back in 1971 I bought one of these for a dollar ($1) and after fooling with it in the driveway for an hour I drove it home. The worst part was the frozen clutch. I jacked it up and started it in gear, then slammed the brakes with the clutch to the floor... it broke free! You cannot check the transmission fluid and get an accurate reading unless the motor is running that's how you test it tells you on the dipstick start the car first so you get a true reading on your transmission fluid level good luck brother hope she goes for you. Mr WELSH
@jimwelsh1908
@jimwelsh1908 3 года назад
When you power wash the motor you should cover the distributor if you forget to do that you could always spray the inside of the distributor cap with starting ether it's the same as starting fluid The Ether will evaporate any moisture they got in the cap if it won't start for you good luck. MR WELSH
@flashesofblack4128

Be careful when you add ATF into a cold automatic transmission. That fluid expands as it gets hot so its easy to overfill it. I love those old GM 232 straight six engines. Robust and practically indestructible, a little like the venerable Dodge slant six!

Anytime you get a car if you want to get running do not use the fuel from the tank if it's been sitting for awhile unhook the intake to the fuel pump and run a separate line to a container plastic or gas can you don't want to pump that crap in the motor it's a car has a old gas tank with old fuel good luck I hope it runs but it is definitely not a 1967 or a 1966 it's older good luck with it nice car MR WELSH

There was the usual queue of glamorous people waiting to get in the club. The valet pulled open my date's door before I could warn him and the door just fell into the gutter.
