Jordan seems to be turning a lot of wrenches these days and he is always on the tires at the track. Seems like a nice guy just staying in the background and letting the other guys do all of the entertaining.

They introduced him end of last year.... he's a UNOH graduate that they tested out and looks like he made the cut.... good thing cause he packed up everything after graduating to try out for them and had no other backup plan lol

Would love to see the fire bottle turned horizontally instead of vertical in case you do end up on your top the hose in the bottle will still work!! Best of luck crew!!

I said it in the last video and I’ll say it again. Those clarey engines aren’t as well known as a Cornett or clements but make no mistake about it they will run with them. He makes really good stuff. We used to run race tec stuff also but once we got the 430 clarey we never ran the race tec stuff again.

Hey guys you should take that with you to southern Speedway and shake it down during hot laps or something. But also take the dream for the race the main race to the opportunity to run that one is a shake it down. Just a suggestion

Seems like the pump was reversed, like it was sucking fuel instead of pushing fuel. Orientation could be wrong, or the pump direction could be wrong

Were those valves backed off? If those valves and springs weren't back off and sitting for 3 years even if their PSI top of the line springs you just might be facing a big issue coming.....

@@JJ-1-1 pistons might say hello valve at over 7 thousand rpms I hope not but I wouldn't race it without checking springs especially after 3 years and what about rusty valve seats she might just sound good and not be up to par needs a leak down test and total valve train inspection if it set 3 years especially if they didn't back off the valves and fog the engine when she was shut down

Be careful at Bristol and Eldora with it. Had a 460 from Randy and it had no lower end torque at the big tracks. All you wanted entering the corner but couldn't get off. Good luck guys. Got my HTF hat and JJ Hoodie today on my birthday. Tell the guys Thank you so much. H T F

Why don,t you guys run a block heater in the sump tank? Preheating the oil before starting a cold motor helps.We put two in are arca car.

If that hog has been sitting for 3yrs I sure hope they had the valves adjustment backed off or those springs will be toast!!!

yep!! we bought a used engine and that was the case. weak spring pressure caused the valves to bounce or float at high rpm. that led to exhaust gases not evacuating properly which led to the intake charge being sub par and our exhaust gas temps. were 1500 degrees plus.

I'd look into getting a KSE power steering and fuel pump, it's a 2 in 1 pump that mounts onto the back of the "bazooka."

Question? Frame in front angled up on right side to allow for turns. I noticed the radiator is below frame on right corner. I'm assuming this is not a problem.

I noticed Joseph was using never seize on the header bolts. The copper kind. DO NOT use the silver aluminum kind like you can buy from Napa in anything aluminum like heads. That stuff hardens up and will actually pull the threads out when you back the bolts out. Been there done that. Not a good outcome.
