Bro I am working to get my used delta license and start selling cars but I would to see if you can crest a video about really and expectations about having a car dealer. I mean how much you pay in taxies and what is an average profit frame for a use car… if that isn’t to much to ask, I believe it will be a great video… or a video with tips for people trying to get into the business and what yo expect in the other side of the business

I’ve been watching Craig’s videos for a while with great enjoyment. I love the used car business. I was very fortunate to have a mentor of whom Craig reminds me a great deal of. Flipping cars put me through college and paid for my M.B.A.. My mentor was a wholesaler and a huge powerhouse of a broker. He shared a great deal of knowledge with me, let me use his facilities and contacts and never expected or asked for a nickel. Elmer, if you’re still out there you’ll never know how fortunate I consider myself to call you my friend. Even though Craig is more of a retailer then my friend, they both prove that one can be extremely successful in the car business and also be an honorable and trustworthy businessman. Peace, Rick

Ive been buying and selling "things" for a bunch of years! So far so good! One thing I can say "for every tire kicking jerk there someone willing to buy at your bargain price!!!!" Ive done it while talking to some Hem and Haw while they are "thinking" someone standing behind them gave me "full Price"!!!

So cool to see that German is using Meguiars products :-) I work as a car detailer my self here in Norway, and use the same brand. In the states one gallon of glass cleaner costs about $20. In Norway the same product costs $170. Wrap your heads around thet, guys!

Ran my Jeep thru auction once didn't sell, was driving home on highway hood bent over the windshield. Scared the crap out of me, good times though , miss that jeep!! Actually traded it for a Mustang Gt 89!

I got the best deal ever. 1991 mx5 miata, B package red, A/C car 5speed. Garage kept, full service records, 0 rust, 140k, 2500 dollars. Car is beautiful. Came with a recent 5kdealer repair service, new tires, and new exhaust, full fluid change. I'm still in shock it's in my garage.

What do people expect for a used good condition convertible..people think 6k is like 50k...6k is very reasonable...did alot of work on it. Glad it was sold at 6k. Congrats!

Good video. The gas pump on the gas gauge doesn't represent which side the gas door is on. All cars have the gas pump on the gauge with the nozzle on the right. If the car shows which side it's on, there will be an arrow. I don't get why all cars don't have it. Such a simple addition to the gauge cluster. I've never seen the huge lettering on the Speedometer at the bottom showing which side it is on like the Mustang has.

All cars don't have it because people didn't use to be complete morons and could remember what side their gas door was on. That and you used to be able to tell by looking in the mirror down the side of the car

Nowadays, a $3k car is a POS. you gotta spend $5k plus to get something decent. And if it's under that, it's gonna be 30 years old LOL. That Stang was worth $6k all day long. The Foxbodys are already $10k. Good flip !

Ha Ha! I bought a 2013 X5 repo last week - it started knocking on the way home. So rather than fix it I took it back to the auction. I too was LITERALLY the last one to run. So I guess we'll try again next week!

If you were going to the auction those 3 weeks in a row anyway. Then I wouldn't add the 3 auction trips to expenses for the Mustang . But if you had to pay to run the car threw the auction 3 x . Then I say calculate the trips in to total.

Come on Craig you know the saying, there's an ass for every seat. Sometimes you just have to wait for the ass 💯💯🤔🤑🤑🤑 . Things are starting to slow up a very little bit for me however I still can't keep cheap cars on my lot. Not to mention the mechanic side of things is crazy crazy busy!!

Ive had the hood on a Pontiac GTP fly up going down the freeway. It shattered the windshield and the sunroof. Luckily no one else was near us

Those tires probably killed the sale. Dealers though the car was abused. If you want to make money at the auction you have to sale cars that new car stores and franchise dealers desire. Not small dealers like us. It has to be green light, monitors ready, no visible damage, no frame damage.

No, just no. New car stores aren't cruising the beater lanes for inventory, nor do they re condition their trades to sell at auction. Maybe a quick clean up. Who do you think buys the trade ins at auctions? Used car dealers.

@@longjohn77 most delaer buy cars online these day. They don't go to lanes. They sit behind their desks and look at the list, and if they find a year they need and the car is green light they will buy it. By they I mean new car stores. If you know what you are doing you will sale plenty of cars to new car stores trough the auction.

i'm in the middle of the video so not sure if it sells, but i'm in florida and the price you initially paid was way too much. probably pick one up in that condition for about $1500 tops, plus it's auto. all that work maybe get about $4500. maybe different in your area. good luck, love the channel

May be a stupid question but I'll ask. If a guy like me, with no dealership, is flipping a car, do I get any insurance on the car? If I wanna drive it a while of course I would need insurance though but how bout just flipping it?
