For the Paladin helmet complete agree. It jarring because its so different from the original. Your change fixes everything and makes it feel like the original while still be a remake.

That helmet is actually a good correction, i do not think the blue fits well and the bottom of the helmet has to be more straight like cross.

It's nice they are making this a whole patch. Twenty years! Ho-Lee! I am definitely after that Paladin set. I will try to mix it with other parts of the expansions. I have a few pieces in mind that could go really well with it.

5 years ago already since classic was relaunched is just wild...

It's hard to explain, but the original lock T2 set looks weird and lame in retail compared to how it looks in Classic. Something about the way they've updated the graphics over the years, and/or the new character models have just made it look worse. So I'm super happy with the way they remade it for the anniversary. I still remember when you came to raid 6 BWL, and I got the t2 shoulders, Nelths Tear, and bracers of arcane accuracy in one run. What a day lol

Ultima Online and EverQuest and EverQuest 2 is still going .. EQ 2 launched 2 weeks, IIRC, before WoW ... not to mention all the MMO's that were snatched up by the community that sunsetted, that were revived - to a degree - that are still going too.... MMO genre still has passion players. And I think EQ and WoW are the reason the passion for all these games still continue.

I'm for sure spending that patch collecting all those sets. GG Blizz

Lol, trust me, I'm a clear cut above the rest and I certainly dont need validation from others, my play style was proof enough and people knew when they were around, they understood, there were levels to this game. Don't need to prove anything simply stating, this paladin in the vid is playing like a coward and not optimizing damage or threat throughout the pulls in dungeons.

The eye color and helm design put me off so much that I didn't even notice the boots were oversized. I re-watched Tomkek's remodel of this set, and honestly, I gotta say he did a much better job than Blizzard.

i prefer the helmet as it is, the edit one you did with the white eyes is more true to how it looked back then. but the new one feels better, at least to me. ps: i did not like the rogue one, the old one red eyes were more menacing and the face was hidden in shadows, the new one fails to do that.

I never got savage gladiator chain on any character I wanted it on. Then I played classic and as holy pally, I did an arena run. It dropped and I was the only person who could wear mail armor... Yeah, I got it.

Been playing since Vanilla and last year I finally FINALLY got the headless horseman mount I use it all the time lol.

Damn son, you lost weight. Grats. Most likely you dieted without any gym work. Which is fine but for me when I do that I lose a fair bit of mussel... about 2/3 fat and 1/3 mussel loss. About 2 months in the gym and you will gain most of that mussel back though. Highly advised.

As someone rather new to WoW, what discouraged me from playing Retail, was all the time-traveling stuff. Its just confusing, doesnt feel immersive and is imo kinda lame.. Why do people like it so much? If they removed it, id love to play retail.

Honestly, I don't like the paladin set. The eyes don't look right. I also don't like the warriors which I love the original. Overall, I think monks looks the best it really captures the whole mop vibe. The dk one I wish they had just updated the original set that dk's got from their starter quests or got an Arthas themed set. It's about hitting nostalgia the dk set just looks like another random new set. It doesn't even make me think about wotlk when I look at it
