@@nancytaylor6956 Doesn’t matter what other religions teach. The Lord Jesus says in John 6:47, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
Once you die you are dead as a doornail! end of story. Make the most of your life. You only get ONE life. Don't spend it in brainwashed stories of religious ideology. Worshiping the idea of HUMAN SACRAFICE? Eating flesh and drinking blood??? yeah, that's the sickness that religion teaches. Disgusting!
The only limits on God are those that He imposes on Himself. He created the universe and it runs on math and physics that are the same just about everywhere except in places of extreme forces at work, such as black holes, neutron stars, and other rather spectacular places in His universe.
God puts Himself in a box if you read scripture. There are things that God cannot do, such as He cannot be unjust or unrighteous, because He has no sín. He also has established one way to the Father, and that is through receiving the LORD Jesus Christ as your God and Savior, because Jesus is the visible image of the invisible YHVH, He is the Creator incarnate as a man. All who deny that Jesus is God have denied the deity of the Father. No man has seen the Father at ANY TIME, but the Son has DECLARED HIM. What do we make of this verse from scripture, that no man has ever seen the Father, when we clearly see Moses has a face to face encounter with YHVH on Mt Sinai, Jacob has a face to face encounter with YHVH when his name was changed to IsraeI (Jacob said he had seen the face of God and his life had been preserved), and God appeared physically to Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 18 when He promised to give them Isaac as their son, and the heir to the covenant promises that YHVH made with Abraham. So who did Moses speak to on Mt Sinai, the man he saw in the burning bush whom he bowed before? Who is the man Jacob wrestled with, and who is the man who appeared to Abraham, who Abraham called the Judge of the whole world? It is Jesus Christ before He was incarnate as a flesh man. Jesus is YHVH the Son, who is the physical representation of our Heavenly Father. When Jesus pulled back the veil of His flesh on the Mount of Transfiguration, it was the glory of YHVH the Father that knocked the apostles on their face in worship to Him, which is why scripture says they beheld the glory of the Father in the Son, which is why scripture says YHVH was IN CHRIST reconciling the world to Himself. This is a direct example of the Godhead spoken of by Daniel in Daniel 7, which shows us the 2 equal powers in Heaven, that being the visible YHVH, the Son of Man who is Christ, and the invisible Father YHVH on the throne. In fact, YHVH swore on His own name because there was NO GREATER NAME, and we are told in Philippians that Jesus Christ has been given the name above all names, which means the Father has given His Son His own name. That’s why the name Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew, Iēsous in Greek, means Yahweh is my salvation, and there is salvation in no other name. Anyone who says they belong to Jesus Christ should be able to go through the OT and point to Jesus Christ in the OT, because He is YHVH in the flesh. When Jesus was telling the men on the road to Imaeus about Himself, this was after His resurrection, He was quoting the OT. When the early Church began, the apostles were proving Christ is the true Messiah using the OT scriptures. If we are truly born again believers in Christ, then we will have the same understanding of who Jesus is, that He is God incarnate, because the Holy Spirit will reveal it to us in the scriptures. The apostles knew He was YHVH in the flesh, which is why they worshipped Him, and He did not correct them, since He is the visible YHVH, and even the angels are commanded to bow at His feet. YHVH does not share His glory with another, which means Jesus has to be YHVH incarnate for the angels to worship Him. Remember when John fell on his face in worship to an angel, and the angel rebuked him, and said only YHVH is to be worshipped? Well, that same angel is commanded to fall on his face before the LORD Jesus Christ, just like every knee will bow to Him one day, and every tongue will confess He is God, YHVH the Son, to the glory of YHVH the Father.
@@edb3877did you know the Bible speaks nothing of this? You won’t find the following words in the KJV (only translation that follows the strict masoretic rules of translating from original texts: Universe, space, planet(s), black Holes, solar system, asteroids, comets (or anything of the like), or aliens. It doesn’t even hint at them. Why do you think that is?
Yup. Our bodies are just a really cool mobile home and it will need repairs before it gives out or is totaled. It's all about the soul of the person. ❤ Stay youthful in your soul for as long as you are here. ❤
@@karenoneill7959 yep and God gives us a glorified body when he raises us that are in Him. I'm looking forward to a glorified body! No aches, pains, sickness. Thank You, Lord for loving me!
No being cremated does not keep you away from heaven do you think God is so weak that he can't put our bodies back together again and be glorified with a full body. Remember all it takes for God to make us whole again is some dust and his breath
Perhaps, but there are people with a genuine concern on making this choice. I am grateful for Buddy making it clear with Scripture for those who do not know God's word❤
@@lisahull6059 amen sister . My body is damaged and broken , suffer with back pain every day . Looking forward to that incorruptible body . Glory to Jesus .
You don't have your body put back together when you go to heaven you're not a physical form but if you choose to come back to earth you will be once again
Really? Did Jesus receive a new body? No because the tomb is empty! Did Enoch get the new body of kept the old one? Transfigured body means the same body became different before death! If our body would be a dust like Adam had we would never be a temple of the Holy Spirit before we die! Do you know that Jesus redeemed our bodies on the cross? Are you aware that Jesus said our Father take cares of our body? You mean cursed body which is dust? No! If we accepted the gift of Eternal life in the Earth not after we die we receive Eternal life for body and soul! We don't accept eternal life when we die otherwise we are not eternal! Death is optional! It is your choice! It doesn't drop on wether our body supposed the be immortal or not ! Immortality is the spiritual option that change our body condition! Btw, Enoch was before redemption and he went to heaven in the same body! It was his choice that lead to immortality
Some people have a problem with the thought of their loved ones being burnt up. Our fleshly body is just a vessel for our souls. You are right Buddy, if we belong to Christ Jesus, it don't matter what happens to our earthly bodies upon death, it's our souls that are eternal.
Oh Buddy!! This is profound, true, and sooo full of wisdom and common sense! Hubs and I love you kid!……well ….he wouldn’t go that far…. but he does appreciate you greatly! Great video! ❤️
I want to be buried under a tree, no embalming and no box. Everything else seems like pomp and circumstance to me. I don’t want my loved ones to cry, happy stories and a lot of laughter!
Buddy for the last few years I have been involved in archeological efforts at a revolutionary war battlefield where a number of Patriots were buried in unmarked graves. To find these graves we have hired a cadaver dog company to locate them. Sue to the soil in our south Georgia being so acidit nothing is left that can be identified as human visually however the cadaver dogs have found numerous graves and this is based on artifacts such as buttons and belt buckles that were found. If a dog can find your remains after 250 years I don't think God will have any difficulty.
What about all the Christians that were burned at the stake during the early church? Because their bodies were burned do they not get to go to Heaven? That’s ridiculous.
It's pitiful that people can't even afford to get buried in a graveyard anymore due to the greed of funeral homes. Probably cost anywhere from 20 to 30 grand and most people are living paycheck to paycheck.
I hear you! I have already told my wife; that should I pass before she does, to get the cheapest cremation she can find and put me up on the shelf or throw my ashes out with the trash. Makes no difference to me, when I die I’m going immediately to my Lord Jesus.
@@djdalton6070 Our departure I feel is sooner than most realize. Read Revelation 6:4-8 and think about what we see coming all over the world. God Bless us all my brother! One day we will meet when we go home, and remember our conversation.
AMEN AND AMEN 🙏 🙌 I don't want this broken body to follow me into eternity, whatever my Lord has for me I know I'll be,more than happy with ✝️🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏✝️ God Bless you ALL 🙏
The Bible says when we die our souls immediately goes back to the father. We are through with our earthly bodies and God has a better spiritual body for us.
❤ I was raised believing you had to be buried so I opposed cremation. After educating myself more I told my adult son he could have me cremated and he laughed when I told him “it will my only chance of ever having a smoking hot body?”!
Thank you Buddy, my son took his life last June and I wasn't even thinking about this as far as what God wants us to do . We just made the decision based on our finances. And it has been on my heart and in my mind for a while . And I did not want to read scripture as of fear I had made a mistake. But God's still small voice told me the exact thing you said . Nothing is impossible for him to do. Ben's is not here and what we do with his body is really just ritualistic not spiritual . My God can raise my son up with no problem at all. After all we will have a new body. Amen
I’m thankful for this video, my husband passed last year and his last wishes were to be cremated, I and his youngest son really battled this, his oldest son was in charge of his estate because he knew he would follow his wishes, and he knew I would struggle to do so. I’m so thankful for this peace of mind you have shared with me today.
When you pass, it doesn't matter what you do with your body. Your Holy Spirit will still be your Holy Spirit. My will says in great detail where to scatter my ashes after I am gone. It just so happens to be a Holy place as well. Amen Buddy!!! 🙏
Thanks buddy for clearing this up. My mother was cremated. She was a good Christian woman. I wondered about this sometimes. I know she is with our Lord.
Amen Buddy 🙏. When you died your soul stands before the Lord, not your shell. Like the old words; ashes to ashes, dust to dust. The shell is discarded and is of no use except as fertilizer like all empty bodies.
I love your wisdom Buddy. I gotta say, though, that I clicked on this so fast cause I had no idea that this was a real issue. I was raised to believe that we get a new body when the Lord comes back. Simple enough for a child and good enough for me now😊❤
I totally agree with your thoughts on cremation. I have chosen to be cremated, simple an economic decision. Any money that is saved over burial, my family can use for whatever.
Amen Brother, I have often pondered this and the thought came to me, that if a fireman lost his life in a fire would God reject him. A man who puts his life in harms way to say others. GBU brother and your family.
My very religious, old timey Uncle Frank looked at me with my several tattoos and asked, "do you think Jesus will recognize you with all those?" I said " I think Jesus will be looking at the content of my heart, not what my body looks like"....he stopped, looked at me, smiled and said "I reckon you're probably right!" Buddy said it right... your body is just the vessel carrying WHO you really are. Take care all, be safe and God bless!
I prepaid for my cremation and service through our local funeral home 10 years ago, a week after my dad passed. They worked out a payment plan over 3 years ($36/mth) with a paid in full clause if I died after 12 month paid premiums. It's actually a life insurance attached to your premiums. It's never too early to plan, and it takes a lot of stress off your family.
Thank you Buddy. That was spoken more plainly than most any preacher I have heard on the topic. I don't "like" the idea of being burned to dust, but the reality is that once I'm gone, I'm not really going to care. Funerals are purely for the Living that remain when you are gone, and I've told my wife to either donate my body to science or have it cremated, whichever is cheaper because I don't want her wasting money on an empty shell when I'm gone. I would rather she used "funeral money" to go on living a happy life to the extent that she can.
Thank you sooooo much. I really needed this. I have been so worried. I did not want my children to have the expense of a burial, but I did not want my soul to go to hell for choosing cremation. You have put my mind at ease. ❤️
Thank you so very much for explaining this so clearly. I have told my family that I wanted to be cremated. the thought of being buried in a box 6 feet under ground has always been such a scary thing to me since I was a child, ( I am now 73 and it still scares me). You explained it so well and I feel so much better now. Thank you, Buddy.
My dad told me, I’ve had dirt thrown in my face my whole life, don’t do it to me when I die. That and it was 5k cheaper to have him cremated. And he gets to hang out with me, my brother and his brothers and sisters until the Lord comes and gets us all.
THANK YOU!!!!! I’ve said this for years. Christians Will get new bodies in heaven. Like you said this is our earthly container. I am a spirit. I have a soul , I live in a body. ❤
As it is written: “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. The speculation arises from the idea that the dead in Christ will rise first. As in, how will they rise if there is no body. The Lord is able to raise them, regardless. What about people who have passed where their bodies got incinerated upon their death? Perhaps an explosion. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
Exactly. Even the sea will give up the dead. Our bodies are just a temporary vessel for our spirit and soul. I think funeral homes are behind a lot of this info about cremation. They lose a lot of money when one is cremated. F.H. Pays around $2,000 for a regular nice casket. $500 for vault. But charge 10,000 or more to bury you. Most don’t know that.
Since God created me with a thought and gave my body life with a breath from the Holy Spirit, He can do it again when He wants to, no matter what condition my body is in.
Love the shout out to Nova Scotia!! 🙌🏼 from an East Coast Canadian! 😁 and yes, I have wondered about this too, I have loved ones who were cremated and was worried there for a while. But, of course if someone were to die in a fire God wouldn’t bar them from Heaven! Thanks for making this video on this topic. 🙏🏼
I have always worried about this, my brother died the day before Thanksgiving, my mother was in the hospital for 3 weeks already, she was at deaths door, many times I was called out of work and spent all night with her, my dad went to the VA, he was a drunk, he couldn't even stand up, so I had to wait for my mother to get better to have his funeral. Which wasn't until April so I had to do something with his body waiting to bury him, I had him cremated and my son kept his ashes until that day came, I don't think it was what he wanted but it was months before we were able to have a funeral, I live with that guilt almost 16 years now, I pray the Lord forgives me, thank you I needed to hear this, God bless
Buddy, Thank you for sharing this. And if no one has shouted Amen Amen yet !!! I’ll shout it Amen Amen. So looking forward to reaching the finish line He has for us.
My great, great great Grandma died coming to America and was buried at sea and I have no doubt that she will be resurrected. Nothing is impossible for God.
Thank you! I lost my daughter in July & she was cremated. We just today received her ashes. This was something that had been worrying me since that decision was made. I received a message that God would send me a blessing to ease my worry. You have fulfilled that message. May God bless you and yours.❤
I was against cremation for a long time, but over the last few years, I’ve changed my mind, after discussing it with my Pastor. Now in my 50s I realize it would be a burden on my wife to pay for a normal funeral. I told her I didn’t want a funeral and the cheapest way to take care of me, is what I want. I’m not going to be here any longer, I’ll be with Jesus in Heaven and I thank him that I can rest assured in that fact. If you read this and you’re not saved, please don’t wait, call out to Jesus and he will save you.
Mr. Buddy Brown: I just had this very conversation at Bible study the other week because of my very strong belief. I was the very opposite of you and said DO NOT bury me in the ground, burn me! We’re all alright. Jesus made us from dust the first time and I’m sure ashes won’t be a challenge. 😊 God Bless! 🙏❤️🇺🇸
When we get to heaven, we will be in our spiritual body. Our earthly bodies return to dust from which it was made so it doesn't matter what happens to it after we die.
Thank you for this knowledge, Buddy. My friends, the Lindstroms, lost their mother, Dawn, several years ago and she was cremated. She was a wonderful woman who always had a smile on her face and loved when we visited her and the family in our hometown. She lived long enough to see her son, Chris, get drafted by the Atlanta Falcons and when she took the turn for the worse, the Falcons flew him home immediately despite missing a game and took some time off to grieve. Practically almost the entire town showed up for her wake and funeral. Now I rest easy knowing she is with The Lord.
The soul is eternal, the body is fleeting. You spoke my favorite scriptures on the subject Buddy. Thank you sir. Especially "to be abscent from the body is to be present with The Lord".
People should be FAR more concerned about where their soul is going at the moment life ends than their bodies. Peoples bodies die in all kinds of ways and some in ways that are full and utter destruction not dissimilar to cremation but GOD is able to do ALL things and He will!!!
Buddy, you are so right God only cares about your SOUL , not the VESSEL of clay that it resides here on earth. THERE’S NO LIMIT TO WHAT GOD CAN DO AMEN ❤❤❤❤❤
I had said no , then my grandmother died and buried in a single lot , she raised me from the age of 3 , nobody wanted me , but she did , I was now on this earth alone with nobody to love me , so , in order to be next to her , I have to be cremated , so be it , I have paid for everything already , even got a new head stone with our names on it , and it says grandmother and granddaughter !! I am a believer , I have no worries !! ❤🙏✝️❤
Bravo! Amen, Brother! God bless you! John 6:63 "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.'
Recently, some of my family selected to participate in the cremation process after death. Since then I have been really troubled. The emotional response I had surprised me because I had never put any serious thought into it. I just assumed it wouldn't ever be an issue. Still, the moment I heard the news I had a visceral reaction, as if it was deeply ingrained in my soul to know it was wrong. Why did I feel that way, and was the reaction justified? From an earthly and logical perspective, definitely not. From the spiritual and/or religious perspective, maybe not, I still wasn't sure. I reflected on the bible and some others who are close, but I still felt unsure and not truly at peace. I needed to hear this exact topic discussed by someone else that I respect. So, thank you Buddy Brown, this helps. Thank you to others in the comment section for your thoughts as well. God bless.
I believe even if your ashes are scattered to the wind, the Good Lord knows where every speck of dust is located. Thank you Buddy! People can't afford funerals anymore. I think it might be time to bring back family cemeteries on your own property like back in the old days. My brother was cremated and had a spot picked out on my sister's land. We buried his remains under what I think is a wild magnolia tree by a pond. We can place anything we want on his grave and don't have to go by any cemetery rules.
Ok, I said what I said in my post below BEFORE HEARING YOUR VIDEO, i just read the thumbnail and replied! Glad to see we are in agreeance of scripture! Amen
God bless you Buddy. Read ecclesiastes 9. It says when you die, your body is broken, your spirit separates from the body and your spirit returns to God, from which it came. The body is only the box you were shipped in.
