I don't wanna be like weird and personal about relationship or dynamic but I'm so here for Jacob's responses when Julia is like "I'm bad at this thing" which are totally valid and I can ABSOLUTELY understand especially performing in front of people you wanna get in there and be like "guys I'm bad at this don't expect me to be good or do well" and then maybe the internet will be a bit kinder which yknow is always a plus but Jacob is so awesome just gently being like "you're not bad at this you've just never played this game before and have to get used to it" like "just making sure you realise reality" 🤣😊 but then he still will be like "you did that bit badly though lol" 🤣 i love these two
I fell asleep watching one of the other vods and then woke up to the endless "tunk, tunk" of this knights steps. It crept into my dream and i walked around my house trying to find what was making that metallic noise. I eventually disassembled my air conditioner but it didnt fix it so i walked outside. The noise was coming from everywhere and then i eventually woke up.
I definitely think Julia should be proud of completing dark souls 1, especially with a bunch of extra challenge stuff she threw in. Some people make it an extra challenge on themself to only use the default 5 starting flasks and not use any NPC summons and Julia was able to do all that on her first playthrough. So congratulations again! You are good at life!
This stream just brings my understanding of Julia to a new level (I think). Her description of the Nirvana at peak nihilism makes complete sense given how she seems to be an overthinker and I feel that in my bones. Once the constant thought process is dulled she feels like her creative side can flourish and that's why her drawing aesthetics tend towards dark/gritty but at the same time bring some eldritch comfort. And my feedback for Julia in case she ever sees this and decides to Knights Try Again is to: A- dismember the traps mentally like you do with those Returnal lasers and the menial tasks in day-to-day life, then stop thinking when you're executing. B- As Jacob said by the end, the positive thinking also works as a way to stop the overworking brain; and, most importantly, C- remember to channel the grace and confidence of her inner gazelle!

Only in an SSS stream that involves seeing Julia actually make a little onion Knight boy make it through tough obstacles, just by talking positively and saying she was going to crush it in a monotone voice, make me a believer that being kind to yourself and being positive, does actually work.

I can definitely relate to the build change up strategy of dark souls 1. It was probably four playthroughs with friends that I realize you can use a divine weapon in the Nito boss fight to prevent the skeletons from reviving. At that point it just became a much less hectic solo battle with Nito themselves. And I knew for every single one of those playthroughs that you could use a divine weapon against regular skeletons to prevent them from reviving, I just never thought to bring it into the Nito boss fight until I did it by coincidence.
for me it was that you can fight nito without having a light spell/ bug active and when u do that u dont get sniped by nonstop ground swords before ur even looking at the man

This is a really weird reference, but the graphics of this game have the same vibe as the graphics for the Warcraft II PC cinematics. It's that blurry, but pixelated feel that is making me feel really nostalgic as I watch this playthrough...

Much like Jacob, I too get motion sickness only at some games; for instance Overwatch is fine, but for some reason Minecraft longer than a few hours. I think it is a framerate thing, though I've also tried screwing around with FOV settings and sometimes it helps a little bit.
While looking at our cats, I too sometimes just say to my partner, "This is a real living creature that lives with us. Like a real animal that we house and feed and love."
