Main Stream Media love to generate clicks, but are clearly "dishonest" in their comparisons. Overhyping players is the best form of clickbait and all said and done Klopp may be good but certainly not in the ranks of the elite. He got lucky but ran out of excuses not because of schedule or strategy but because the players were inconsistent all the way, with Mo as the best example of ambivalent coaching and guidance. Football is an art as well as a science. Cannot use numbers repeatedly to guide performance. Some sense of direction, yes, but relying on these numbers will lead to selecting Nunez or Keita. Data Scientists remind us all the time, but we refuse to accept their assertions because we get too emotional.

I don't know how xG is calculated but Klopp got lucky in the Carabao Final. That is all for this year. In many respects, we saw the "movie" two seasons ago. Wish Klopp the best for his National team efforts in the future because when all is said and done he did just a little better than Benitez, but not by much when we look back in a few years. Fan morale and Siverware are two different things - one relies on hot air, and the other on substance on the field. No questions about professionalism on the field - abundant display especially by the youngsters - but inability to adapt strategy dynamically will never win Silverware.
