In this video, I discuss why the old strategy that worked for the Thar, Scorpio-N, and XUV 700 might not succeed with the XUV 300. Competing against the Brezza, Nexon, and Venue, which are already performing well, the XUV 300 offers a refreshed design with new features but may struggle due to its polarizing design and limited boot space.
A ground-up redesign could have addressed these issues more effectively. Additionally, the lack of CNG variants gives the Brezza an edge. Mahindra should maintain original pricing, even at the cost of profits, to gain a psychological advantage, as their C2 and D2 segment cars are already thriving.
