The idea of keeping a dude in a room and torturing him came from a "game show" from China or Japan yrs ago. The only way he could "earn" things including food and water was thru filling out and winning sweepstakes from magazines. He'd get like a 80lb bag of rice....but had no water, pot, or heating device to cook it so for the first like 4 mo ths he ate nothing but dry. hard rice. They fucked with this guy soooooo bad even to the point that after like a full year they had a celebration and told him he won.....only to bring him to another room that was totally empty and didn't even have the items he had collected or made over the course of the first year in the other room....it was crazy!! Here in Canada, all the medical units are lockdown 24hr, no lights other than a frosted over window looking out to a forest. They were under lockdown most of the year for short staffing, so they let you "out" once a week for 15mins. Only then could you make a call, use a shower, or go out to what Matt described; a 15×20' area with 20' walls looking at the sky. It had a busted basketball and a backboard, no rim. Id rather go back there(I did 7 months in Medical, 9 in the regular range) than go through what the Mr Beast kid went through.

One thing I didn’t see you guys cover is that Mr.Beast grew his channel from doing gift card give away scams. Basically going live with pre-recorded videos of him scratching the gift cards to reveal the PIN number for the first person to see was to use it. The catch was that the videos were pre recorded and the gift cards were already used.

Well I read that Mr Beast or Jimmy Donaldson early on knew that Chris was having identity issues and this is what back when they were going to school and stuff too so it sounds likes he's supportive. But then you have all these people that are being negative about it and kind of jeopardizing his brand. But then like you said even if he is supportive and then sees that it's jeopardizing his brand he can't say you know what I think it's better if we let you go because then he would get bashed online with the LGBT community. Other people have came out and said that he knew about these allegations beforehand to like there's videos where they're cutting out clips of drawings of child's anime where they're naked and stuff like that and they're in these videos. It's just so convenient that Jimmy is like oh I just heard about these allegations and I'm hiring a third party to investigate and taking these allegations seriously. Regardless if he knew about that he had these Discord servers he knew to an extent what was going on as he replied to some post on Twitter way back in the day of Chris with these anime pictures that were drawn depicting children. But I just think it's so convenient that he says all this like he didn't really know what was going on because he doesn't want to look bad and saying that he's doing an investigation. But what I do know is that he was committing illegal lotteries edits enticing kids Gamble and getting their parents to buy Mr beasts products. Even with his latest video he came out with with his new product line where he's got these Collectibles where they're super rare ones that are only a thousand you know kids are going to go out and buy these to try to collect and get the rare ones or have their parents buy them for him and he still hasn't learned from that and it's basically having these kids Gamble. And if these are being sold worldwide and all toy stores like he said in his video a thousand that are available for that rare one is like going to be super hard to get and he knows that all this money is going to be spent to collect the rare ones. Also too I agree with like if someone's wearing dresses or something like that to an extent. There's people that do drag show and do performances that doesn't mean that they're transitioning or being a woman. And also you don't have to be a girl or gay to paint your fingernails a lot of punk people do that and manly men can paint their fingernails also that doesn't mean anything. Altitude about giving away fake money I don't know if that's true or not there was one where it said it was prop money and he said due to security reasons and to make everyone safe on set that they use that. But I've also heard that he'll use the money for show on the videos and then he takes it back because he's not just going to give him Cold Hard Cash. Apparently he wires them the money so that he has a transaction showing where it went for tax purposes.
