I just got one for free to wiring is all screw up I did get it running and working. It is jumpy and strange to drive but does work. I'm going to do video soon of it.
It is hard to find info on them and they are not laid out the easiest to work on, but then again what is? Be careful with it, I had a dozen people tell me they were death traps during my brief ownership.
I have an IH 3300BI'm looking for cylinder seal kits for both lift cylinders and bucks cylinders. Any idea where I can purchase the kits and/or what the seal kit part numbers are?
From a beginner channel, I'm already impressed with the Simple Editing skills, Most don't even bother & it turns into a 20+ Pilled Video without Fast Forward etc. Should have a Some-what easy time finding Parts, It's not a Hydra-mac!
See the other video for better explanation. I lost some videos as this was early on when I wasn’t great at editing and stuff so there’s no a great video on it but basically the pump was seized and I couldn’t find a replacement and I was offered more than it was worth to sell it so I did.
I need to do the final part. I had some video on my old phone but I may have lost it. I diagnosed a seized hydraulic pump and was unable to source a replacement. I sold the machine.
I spent a fair bit of time on it, unfortunately parts available for old and rare machines sometimes limits the ability to restore old equipment. I was able to sell it and use the money towards another working machine, vs throwing $2000 for a new pump at this one and it still needing other work.
I'm in the finishing stages of our 3300 restiration and the worst of it was dropping 2500 bucks into the hydraulic system I took the 2 variabke displacement pumps, 2 drive motors, and the charge pump to Hydro Service in Roland IA. A few days later the hydraulics were going back together. The Husco control valve was keaky and difficult, and I eventually made my own nylon spool wipers using 2 dremels like a mini lathe. I love the VG4D Wisconsin. Only a few things to do, like diagnose the governor and weld up the bucket hinge pin holes in the lower legs of the boom, that have elongated. Runs good and it's been a fun 9 month project.
