Might be an idea to split your grazing ground into smaller paddocks and have smaller batches of cows with 1 bull, that should do a few things for you, 1, easier on the bulls, less chance of injury competing for a cow or fighting, 2 you could stagger your calving which should provide a steady supply of finished animals for the shop, 3, you can rotate the bulls round the groups, better grass management when you can shut off paddocks to recover growth

Shed looks amazing! The Semental bulls have been bred to the point that they may be too heavy for their own feet. They are beautiful looking animals. Hope your scanning turns out at 91%

Its the calving interval getting longer with beef ladies is also the issue, hard to get them back if they start slipping and late calves dont do aswel. Nearly aswel to roll a few into autumn calvers to sell or swap if they're still good mothers

Is that a "squeeze " crush keep they quieter? A vet told me that a bull will be infertile 18 - 21 days ( I think) after stress ie moving, presumably lameness etc, not a the time as you'd expect ( don't quote me ,but I think that's correct). Also lastly, I know I've said before, but think about a hard hat for the quad-- I know, I hate them as well, but statistically, survival ,well you get it 👍. Great viewing as always 👌

Save money on bulls and sketchy calving, get the AI man in, better results, better blood lines and timed calving.

Tough to do in a beef system with stock out during breeding. They'd need to be housed during breeding unless your willing to bring them in everyday and seperate out. Much easier for a dairy farmer with cows coming in twice a day anyway.
