He’s gotten closer every year. First time in the AFC Championship last season. I think he’s gonna break through eventually. I say that even as a Steelers fan. Thing now is every young QB is being criticized harshly because of Patrick Mahomes so they are now being judged on the same metric when we need to take him out of the conversation when it comes to the rest of the QBs in the league.
When Peyton Manning had a couple of mvps but no rings, people were still trolling him for not winning the championship, but serious people weren't questioning if it was possible. Rodgers has 3 mvps and 1 ring. Marino never got one. Elway got his at the end. Just because Brady and Mahomes exist doesn't mean they are the standard.

I don’t buy into wild theory that the game rigged but it was such a horrible offensive gameplan it might as well been. The Christmas night niners game was more a fluke than anything else. The ravens seem to always have a good team and are well coached. I do like lamar actually he has gotten better and better every year. Ravens as long as lamar stays healthy are going to be in contention year after year...not everyone figures it out right away... people just want to question lamar because it gets them clicks and eyes on thier shows
We got to see Lamar sling it, and it was trash. He is complementary QB. The coaching was also trash, but that was Lamars moment, and he blew it. They held the Chiefs to 17 points and couldn't do shit with it. I'm just waiting for Lamar to be held accountable one time. When Josh Allen lost to Mahomes and it wasn't even his fault you had people like Ryan Clark calling him bum. When Lamar loses the list of excuses looks like a receipt from CVS.
