Each time they use Madrid as the headline they start talking about premier League teams says a lot. They'll be using Madrid to promote EPL teams yet they always feel EPL teams are the best. There is something deliberate about ESPN.
Btw since 1968 won only 2 Premier League/english league player the Ballon d'Or. And one of them was Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008, the other Michael Owen. Both went shortly after to Real
it’s called sensationalism.. espn is in the business of entertainment not journalism/analysis they care more about engagement and viewership than about accuracy and punditry
Personally I wanted to see Mbappe join Liverpool and challenge Man City every year for the league title. Liverpool's attacking football would've suit Mbappe really well. Its bit of a shame because Real Madrid never needed Mbappe and will win or without him regardless of he contributes or not.
Mbappe wants easy life and money hence he stayed for PSG for so long aka easy money now that he has made his money he is looking for easy trophy aka CL and he knows Real Madrid is the way. Madrid must have zero integrity going back for him even though he used them to make loads of money from PSG before. Madrid didn't even need him to win CL I don't know why they are giving him easy route to Ballon D'or after what he has done to them. Shameless
The same manager that was sacked at Chelsea, Bayern, Napoli, Madrid, AC Milan and PSG. Things go amazing when they do with Ancelotti but when they go bad they go really bad
Ancelotti knows what he’s doing. If it means dropping certain players for games he’ll do it. He won’t sacrifice that by playing players out of position.
Everyone here seriously thinks RM is going to be like PSG b/c of Mbappe?? You guys can't possibly be serious. Do any of you saying this even watch futbol? There's no comparison between RM and PSG. RM will have a solid season and make a great run in the Championship League. Business as usual.
Nah......He's not a good team player fr. he's still the same player who refused to link up with messi and Neymar to create a monstrous trio.....He focuses too much on himself and his own glory. That won't do well on a team like Madrid. PSG had no problem feeding mbappe but Madrid is not like that.....He's a player who likes to show what he can do rather than winning as a team......That won't do good for a team this great
Vini does it better at Real Madrid. On top of that, he performs well, scores and assists in important games too. And obviously Bellingham, he's got 4 assists in 4 finals this year. Arda and Brahim coming off the bench can do that as well. These are Real Madrid players we're talking about. Relax.
Since they’re going to lineup in a 4-2-3-1 formation, Felix will play on the left, Christopher Nkunku will be through the middle behind the striker and Cole Palmer is going to play on the right, that’s going to make their attack so stagnant and predictable. First of all, they have 3 players who are basically attacking midfielders who all thrive with the ball at their feet meaning that nobody is causing a threat in attack when they don’t have a player making in behind runs and they don’t have any directness and an alternative solution could be to play someone like Pedro Neto out wide, keep Palmer on the right and one of Felix or Nkunku are going to play up top and both of them are different profiles, they’re the same type of players. For people who think that one of them should start over Nicolas Jackson up top, why pay significant amount of money for a player give them a 6 year contract only for them to play out of position because Felix and Nkunku are attacking midfielders not actual number 9s and yet in spite of all of this, Chelsea are still lacking a proper striker and we don’t know how this will all work from a tactical perspective especially if they sign Victor Osimhen before the transfer window closes. They already have enough creative players out wide and in midfield, they need someone who’s going to stay in the box and is actually going to score goals consistently as that’s the profile that this team hasn’t had for years yet they keep signing players they don’t need. Signing another winger and attacking midfielder and yet they don’t have a striker makes it make sense. This team just keeps confusing me and when Felix was on loan the first time; people will say that “he was their best player”, he was ok he didn’t do much there as he showed flashes of glimpses there, but wasn’t consistent enough with has been the story of his career which is why he continues to get passed around from club to club without having little to no consistency as he’s yet to truly settle at a home permanently and at the age of 24, when Mauricio Pochettino was their manager he didn’t want him at that club which is a sign that the coach isn’t really the one who’s making the decisions on what his team should look like; anyways he needs to find consistency and people need to stop all this BS and different excuses towards him when the reality is that under every manager he has worked under, he hasn’t been trusted and they don’t bring out the best version in him as he has a couple of good moments during a game and a season and then disappears. It didn’t work out for him at Atletico Madrid they’re going to sell him and if Diego Simeone was the biggest problem and the main reason why he didn’t develop, then why he flop at Barcelona as they didn’t sign him on a permanent basis when he was on loan despite the fact that he got off to a great start there, he also flopped at Chelsea the first time he was there mainly because he was part of a mess that he didn’t create and I don’t want to hear any more excuses if he struggles there again as he’s not being surrounded around the right environment and he continues making poor career choices. With the talent that he has it’s so frustrating in a sense that he can be one of the best players in the world if he sustains a high level of play for 90 minutes straight, the issue for him is that it gets to a point where talent alone just isn’t always enough to cut it at this level and I don’t see Felix going to another top team if he flops at Chelsea again.
Ancelotti is overrated. Gets carried by great players. Great players can win you UCL but to win a league or dominate on all fronts, you need a flexible and tactically brilliant manager. Ancelotti has had great players which have carried him to UCL glory. But the lack of League titles and lack of a truly dominant and entertaining team is a proof of his incapabilities as a purely tactical manager.
No..they'll have the same problem of lack of no 9 and defensive work from the attackers..but Madrid squad is deep and have too much individual quality to decide games on their own... atleast for the la liga they have more than enough.
Perez made mistake again like what he did in first galacticos when brought beckham to real madrid. Buying player which actually the team didn't need it.
How are people triggered by this title and the panel? Like y’all realize is the audience that tweets out the questions that they use on the show right? That means WE are the ones sort of dictating the “hate”.
Mbappe never was about the team. All personal legacy. He had never really welcome Messi to Paris. Did we already forget ? He was bigger than Paris and PSG atleast in his head. Hope he better himself and the team in Madrid. Good luck Carlo.
No chance team is younger and mbappe has slowly learned to set aside his ego. Its down to the chemistry and positional play for the front three but I can see the coach switching tactics and sacrificing one of them to have an extra midfielder.
Also, Messi's and Neymar's ego was a problem at PSG. At Real Madrid, Vini, Jude, Rodrygo, Valverde all of them lift each other up. That's the kind of teammates you want to play with.
@@Chip_FuseMessi has no ego he literally played as a playmaker servant for Mbappe in PSG 9:26 while Neymar was mainly injured for half a Season every Season so the true probleme was actually Mbappe with his actual arrogance and unlimited ego that he ever controled everything there to make it all around him and about him alone to the point where he even kicked out the other two and everyone who's strongly related to them inside the locker room then made it a secondary French national team yet still sucked all around where it mattered as we saw in his last Season there and that's what he's gonna do in Real Madrid and to Real Madrid as he already started doing by the first main game of the season so basically this is gonna be another Galacticos flopping incident all over again just wait and see Lol
@@zakariadjouzi660 Lol saying Messi has no ego is the biggest load of nonsense I've heard in a while. Just listen to what his ex-teammates say about him at his term in Barcelona. Him and Neymar were dragging PSG back with slow pace and frequent injuries. He was passing the ball backwards when the team was losing by a goal in the final minutes, missed the penalty against Real Madrid in the first leg, lost the ball and refused to track back, leading to the equalizer. Real Madrid took the lead just a minute later too. Remember that Mbappe was the only one putting up a fight against Real Madrid, scoring in both legs, while having 2 disallowed as well. Messi at PSG was a hindrance, often trying to overdribble, losing the ball and refusing to track back. Just look at where both Messi and Neymar are..both semi-retired and rotting away with injuries. It was no wonder why they were kicked out of the club, and are both in retirement clubs now. And Mbappe is at the greatest club of all time playing with the best players he's ever had as teammates. That's all there is to say.
I know that there are some Chelsea fans that are happy and at the same time skeptical of them resigning Joao Felix since they’re bringing him back to the club because on one hand, he’s much better than what they currently have and they’re also adding much needed quality to this inexperienced team, on the other hand, the fact that they’re signing a player who’s been plagued with inconsistency throughout his career on a permanent basis not to mention he’s very injury prone during a period where the team needs a striker more than another winger and attacking midfielder, it’s a sign that they clearly don’t know what they’re doing even though with what he’s worth in the transfer market they paid good money for him in that regard and that’s the only thing I’ll give them credit for. Seriously how many players are they signing. As good of a signing Felix looks on paper, I question the fit from a tactical perspective. People will say “oh it’s so easy to fit him in the team, just stick him out on the left wing”, in this Chelsea team where he is going to play what’s his best position. He’s not a striker, he’s more of a number 10 SS, he’s going to play in a position where other players are capable of playing and also he’s not really a left winger.
madrid had this problem in the past alrdy way before psg. they had more than a decade where they could not come over round 1 in the CL with fiego, zidane, raul, ronaldo, beckham and and and.
The felix signing is spread over 6 years so about 7 mill a season while the Gallagher sale is pure profit right now so helps balance books and the other other signings they needed to sell Gallagher - form a playing point of view stupid decision but balancing books one make sense
Madueke, sterling, carney, Angelo, broja, and fofana have all been linked with a move away: there will be plenty of room for Felix. Plus Gallagher is extremely overrated.
This is Real Madrid, not psg lmao. Also Madrid hasn’t had a decisive win vs Mallorca in 2 years, especially at home. They beat Madrid once, and Madrid beat Mallorca twice 1-0 with extremely lucky/scrappy goals. Now Madrid drew to Mallorca. I’ll admit the team isn’t as good as it was last year at the moment, but I have no doubt that in a few weeks/months Madrid will be back in form.
@joshuamontijo4359 I can. Everyone fit they still don't win anything because they were always a flawed team. You can't win playing fantasy football. You can't have 3 players that don't defend. The midfield was terrible.
PSG front three wasn’t even bad it was just the team around them was horrible Madrid on the other hand front 3 all occupy the same position. I’m sure they’ll figure it out but these are two completely different situations.
My god they need a topic every match thereafter to gruel 20 25 yo players what even is the problem they probably have achieved more than the panelists sittin on ranting😊
Still early to judge madrid they just won a European Cup and are the defenders of the champions league. Yu cant compere them to psg they always get the job done give them time
Yes, because mbappe and his huge ego is always the problem! Of course Ancellotti can maybe foresee the issue and get rid of him thus restoring balance again but who knows 🤷
No big 3 . Just big 1 🐐🇦🇷 went there and got himself ready for the biggest trophy in sport (.World cup) won a couple of leagues and flew away to Miami after completing ⚽️ 😂😂😂❤
Mbappe and Neymar were both better than Messi for his two seasons at PSG. Tbh quite a few players outscored Messi in the league. Moffi, Habib Diallo, Laborde, Delort, Wahi...
Yes it's two games into the season. City Inter Arsenal PSG Leverkusen Bayern Dortmund All look relatively in shape even after some minor changes . What's the galactocos excuse? Ohh and Barcelona.
