I'm almost 82. I was 26 when Bobby Kennedy was assassinated . Some Precious part of me died the night Bobby was murdered. But that part of me has been resurrected with Bobby Kennedy Junior's candidacy for POTUS. When I first heard he was running, I had bought into the mainstream media portrayal of him as a conspiracy nut but I felt I owed it to Bobby to at least give his son a listening to. I'm so glad I did! After listening to many interviews I got a feel for his sincerity and Integrity. What's more, when I learned of his practicing a rigorously honest spiritual program, being an old friend of Bill's, well, that just put me over the moon! His emphasis on placing principles before personalities and not impugning the motives of others, but focusing only on policy differences keeps him out of the childish blame-game pettiness which has characterized politics for the last few presidential cycles. For the last 15 years or so I've heard Republicans complain that liberals, like communists, want to redistribute the wealth from the Rich to the Poor. Well, I've been around a while and my experience over the last 50 years or so tells me that through corporate lobbying, payoffs, financing campaigns, etc., Corporate America has more than just captured the Agencies which are supposed to regulate it. It has captured the Whole political system, both Republicans and Democrats to essentially establish a political duopoly which has dismantled the union movement, decimated the middle class and created the homeless class with exorbitant rental rates, interest rates on homes and credit cards, school loans, and stagnated wages over the last 45+ years. And so, the Rich, as plutocrats will, have been Redistributing the wealth from the Poor and Middle-class to the Rich! Bobby knows how to stop this because he's been suing Corporate America and the government agencies that are captured by Corporate America for polluting and injuring people, winning billions of dollars in judgments for the last 40 years. I think Bobby wants us to trade Crony Capitalism for Conscientious Capitalism. I'm for that!
"Will RFK Jr. take more votes from Trump than Biden?" I've always hated that type of phrasing. It makes it sound as if the mainstream party candidates have some sort of right to people's votes. If Candidate A can't persuade enough people to vote for him, the responsibility for the failure lies with Candidate A, not Candidates B, C, or D.
Depends. If candidate B is a little in agreement with A but in complete disagreement with C... Then candidate B might end up taking votes that otherwise might have gone to A ending up with C as the victor. In this scenario candidate A and B need to figure out together which one of them has the better chance to deter C, whom they both fear and dislike as an option and is bad for the future. Or otherwise stated. If the typical RFK voter is more pro trump than kamala now, then the best result for them is RFK wins... Second best result is Trump wins. Tragedy is if Kamala wins. This voter has to toss a coin and hope for the best that any of the two wins... But the odds are less than they would be if they unified. Therefore Kamala gets an advantage. So your logic might be a nice sentiment(that Trump needs to earn those votes)... But Kamala should need to earn them too. And in this scenario she doesn't need to, she will gain the advantage through no effort of her own. And you can be sentimental and idealistic or... Honest. The truth is that there is only going to be one of two winners. So RFK voters need to think wether they have any preference between Kamala and Trump and choose accordingly... Anything else is a wasted vote in favour of sentimentality. Voting for RFK is a nice sentiment but it is also like throwing your vote into the void. If you want to have an effect you need to choose a side. It is what it is. In the real world you don't always get what you want. For example Joe Rogan does prefer Trump to Kamala... But he prefers RFK to them both. But is Joe Rogan prepared to give the victory to Kamala by default by voting for the guy that cannot win? Or is he going to be pragmatic and less idealistic? He did this once in 2020 and ended up with Biden... Whom he disliked as a president far more than he disliked Trump. If there is a horse race with two fast horses and one small, very nice horse... You might prefer the small horse, but he simply will not win and you wont bet on him to win. The same applies here. People have to decide wether they want RFK more than they fear Trump or Kamala winning.
As a vet, RFK jr is easily the best candidate, and I will join many other vets in voting for him and supporting him in any way possible. He will keep gaining...the other two are the worst candidates I have ever seen.

Let's be fair and just to RFK junior. He hasn't left the young generation out of his policies, for making housing affordable for them and doing it on a single income gives the American people a fighting chance to survive their basic rights. We need RFK junior as the leader in Australia. His policies and ideas are workable for middle and low income earners.
The more I listen to Kennedy the more comfortable I feel regarding his knowledge and ability to lead our country and help people to find common ground. Biden and Trump both seem boring and set in their ways, frankly boring.

It’s so easy to listen to Nicole and know that she is being sincere and speaking about problems she is passionate about solving. Bobby is the same way. Which is precisely a vote for Trump. It's not the lesser of two evils, it's is Democracy for or republican form of government with Biden and to hell in a bucket with a vote for trump, Kennedy, or sitting home. Biden has done an extraordinary job considering the state of things when he got elected. The things that suck are not really under the control of the president under our system. The only 'lesser evil' to note is that things would be 10x worse in Gaza under trump.

What is wrong with a presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate having their own seperate opinions on matters? Before any decisons are made, I would find it more comforting to know that our leaders are thoroughly examing their options and individuals having differing view points is a good sign that this isn't simply about power.
