I have a video idea for one and I REALLY hope you do it. My idea is Shelly and Jarrod go to the Groccery store JUST the 2 of you and when you get there split up then each of you have to find one food item per kid that you think they'll like then when get home each kid choices which parent was right the loosing parent takes the winner to dinner any where winner chooses
I love Mindy and you win an award for the most behaved in public. She just walks around so quiet and good and innocent!!! she just manhandle that sour cream and took it away from the other two girls to put up😂
Not so funny but rather a bit disturbing and discounting a parent seems to be to busy trying to make. Money off of fostering then having the time to spend with the children to play games interact with them feed them healthy foods and such smh 🤦♀️
THAT is EXACTLY why Kylie doesn't WANT kids of her own! 😂😂😂 Oh I'm not even 5 minutes into the video and I cant breathe already! Much love from Wilsonville Oregon ❤❤❤
I'm the same. I recently got two cavoodle puppies and they are messy so I've had to take many deep breathes and remind myself how much they have improved my life. I lost both of my parents in the past few years so it's just me left which is ironic as my lifelong specialists gave me two years to live at the most 13 years ago. It's hard keeping up with them but they play together and also when I collapse they bark and lick my face to bring me around. One is a trained therapy dog. Sorry I went off topic there. 😊
My family slices onions and cucumbers and puts them in a vinegar and water mixture and lets it set. The longer the better. It is a staple at our big family get togethers. Its the best with a little salt and pepper :)
My mom called them “fresh pickles.” She’d slice up cucumbers and onions and soak them in apple cider vinegar early in the day and leave them on the counter. We’d eat them all at dinner along side garden ripe tomatoes, and whatever else was for dinner - all dressed with salt! Delish! That really brings back some fresh summer memories for me:)
My mom always would open and eat and drink in the store…I’m with Kylie you’re buying it! And they can’t get you for stealing unless you make it out of the store without paying! Keep on keeping on😂
One time I bought a bottle of water and I got it to the car and it was already opened. GROSS. I went right back in and the cashier says there are people who eat and drink while shopping and don't pay for the stuff as they just leave it in the store. Apparently they change their mind. :(
We don't open anything until we pay for it, that's considered stealing. We taught our daughter when she was little that. You're doing amazing with your kids
This was a fun time! Thank you for showing us the Costco business center, I wondered what they stocked there. Kylie cracks me up. Love when you shop together. Thank you
I grew up in Texas and it was very common for Mommy to have sliced cucumbers soaking in vinegar in the fridge.....first aware of them in the '50's.....yum 😋
The best thing about you guys moving back in your videos has definitely been Kylie & Mark with you guys. They are both such a delight and so funny! I love when you’re doing stuff together like that 😂
In the UK while you might have the honest intention to pay for a chocolate bar or other item that you’ve eaten while shopping in a supermarket, it is technically illegal under section 6 of the Theft Act 1968. It does not become yours until the completion of sale has occurred. I have no idea as to US law but be careful :)
It's shoplifting/stealing here too, and I personally know someone who has gone to jail for eating some of something that was already opened in the store!
You eat food in a restaurant before you’ve paid though… I thought legally in the Uk they couldn’t prove intent to steal unless you’ve left the premises. I worked in a supermarket at uni, they were fine with it and used to watch customers put everything on the belt to see if they’d hide things underneath the trolley. They couldn’t say anything until after they’d been through checkout as they could argue they were going to pay
You guys crack me up I loved this video so much from Kylie in braising her hungry mood which is a crack up to me going I wish we has a Costco way closer to our place then a 3/4 hour drive away. Thanks again
Growing up we would peel and slice a bunch of cucumbers, slice up some white onion then throw it all in a Tupperware and add enough vinegar and water to cover them. You could pull them out, add salt and pepper, and you have a veggie side dish that stays fresh for the whole week.
I was never allowed to eat what we were buying. You had to wait. It was considered disrespectful to the store and everyone around us. Mindy you look great! Funny you handled the sour cream like a champ!❤
Mindy needs the most patient award she is a star No I never open stuff in the store when my kids where small I had a small container with snack in walking in and yea I low key judge people who open it up before paid
Wow, that Costco was huge! Love the laughter❤ From Nebraska and love cucumbers and vinegar! Great video and thank you for taking us on this tour awesome❤❤
Our supermarkets, Coles and Woolies, have a basket of free fruit, near the trolleys, for children (only). Most people are honest and just like one piece per child.
I work at the Costco Business Center in New Jersey! It's awesome to see another one! And yes anyone with any costco membership can shop there! It's GREAT!
are good with ranch dressing, But I put Italian dressing on my cucumber all the time. Another, way to use cucumber is with vinegar salt, and black pepper is the best thing you can use for sacks all the time. I am(A) for Natchez, Ms. I love Cucumber all the time is the best thing for the summer.[The Cucumber Salad Recipe comes together quickly and easily with just a few ingredients. Fresh cucumber and red onion slices are dressed simply in a homemade vinegar salad dressing. It’s a refreshing and tangy side salad, and it’s a great accompaniment to chicken, grilled meat, seafood and so much more. This easy Cucumber Onion Salad is a must-make for any Spring or Summer get-together!] Use this recipe......
Love cucumbers with salt and vinegar! The English cucumbers are wrapped because you can eat the peel; they are my favorite. The regular cucumbers need to be peeled (and I think they are coated or spray with a waxy substance.
I cut up cucumbers and put in a container; add 3/4 vinegar and 1/4 water with a little sugar (or sugar substitute) to taste. Let them sit for at least an hour...enjoy! My mom always made them this way and I too was eating them before I was born. ( I am now 66 years old.)
My Mom always had cucumbers with onions, both sliced in vinegar, with salt and peppers. This was one of my Dad's favorites. Dad was a from West Virginia and the cousins always had this at their homes. When we make a batch, we always put some water.
My mother always makes cucumber salad. Cucumbers, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, all sliced thin and then dredge in a little oil and then red wine vinegar. And some seasonings. 😋🤌🏼
I soak my cucumber in white vinegar for hour or more then add salt and enjoy And Shelly when my daughter was 1-4 yrs old I had to literally pay for a banana peel and empty strawberry container. Tats what she wanted and I wouldn’t hear a peep out of her the whole shopping trip. It was worth it
I love cucumbers in vinegar and salt. My mom used to make them when I was growing up. Now I'm 59 and my mom has passed . I do believe that's a German way of eating cucumbers.
Omg I love mom and daughter together. Shelly, you are so funny, and I feel we have the same sense of humor. I loved seeing you. Thanks for the laughs that was so heartwarming, Thanks for always putting a smile on my face and a little spring in my step
That was so funny. Thanks for the laughs. Also Shelly, I love office supplies, mostly paper, post its, spirals, pens. But I actually laughed out loud a few times.
For next time 😂😂 Note to self Kylie: Get iced coffee with an double extra shot of everything you like, take water and maybe lunch cos that place was draining me too 😂😂😂😂 Loved this video!! Also “You’re not you when you’re hungry!”
Love cucumber with vinegar and salt....also delicious with vinegar, tbsp sugar , top salt, 1/2 top dill weed spice, slice cucumbers thinly and let sit and hour or so to marinate...
Ya'll aren't crazy, many people in Texas eat cucumbers like that but we also like to slice red onions and half white vinegar & water with salt & pepper
I love ❤️ this video. I laughed so hard that 😂I cried. It was fun watching Shellie just be herself and having fun. As for the drinking or opening things to eat, I need something to drink constantly for a condition that makes me thirsty. Otherwise, I wouldn’t. When you made the comment about “Kiley not being harmed”. I died 😂😂😂 laughing. I love you guys!
For years I love cucumber and vinegar with lime or lemon juice mixed together. It was so good. Also try lemon and cucumber with vinegar and onions. It’s so good.
Whaaat how are y’all just now finding out about business Costco. We have one here in WA and hubby and I are Costco lovers. Alternate between the two lol I love when y’all post and now is more consistent. LOVE it All the grown ups shopping lol
Cucumbers and vinegar was my gmas staple!! Love love love. How ever we cut the Cucumber and onion salt and then added vinegar and let them pickle through the day for dinner.
I Love cucumbers in vinegar with onions. I agree with Shelly no eating until it is bought it is not yours yet. I never let my children eat in the store. This was a great video. I also love how peaceful Mindy is.
Kylie was getting hangry!😂💜💯💜 I sooo understand that though lol! I will stop and open something in my cart. Eat it and feel the biggest turn around in my attitude. 😂
No eating in the store, unless it's their samples. How did you get thru life without eating a peach?! They are similar to nectarines, but different. Get jam, and make pb&j with peach and nectarine jam! So good, and you can tell the difference. I hope you liked the tamales! I like to fry them in a pan to crisp up the masa. Yum!
Opening something while in the store and eating it; I once took a chicken in Costco found a quiet corner went behind a skid of boxes and ate the entire chicken. The cashier had a strange look on his face when he picked it up to scan it and it was just the bones. What a great store there wish there was one like that near me. Keep Smiling :)
VINEGAR FTW!!! I use a lot of vinegar on cucumbers, not only the white ones but also apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, well most kinds I have. The best salad is to chop tomatoes (one has to smell them to know they're extra nice) very fine and then chop the cucumber as small, put Maldon sea salt, vinegar, and some olive oil on top and top it all with chopped parsley (fresh or frozen). I'll eat that as candy!
I personally don't open anything up before I leave the store but I also don't really care if others do as long as they are actually paying for it when they leave. I think it's hilarious to say you don't eat in stores while standing in a Costco, which is known for food samples.
We absolutely open and eat items prior to checkout. My husband is notorious for eating things prior to purchase. Due to some of the medicine I take, I almost always grab a drink to use as I'm shopping. I figure as long as it's paid for, it's fair game!! E
Shelley and Kylie… my husband Rich ALWAYS eats cucumbers and vinegar! It’s one of his FAVORITE snacks!!! You are not alone. ME?! I have always hated cucumbers… LOL!!! (Sherry)
I love Kylie and I'm with her on sticky fingers but it's reasonable with that many kids that it's impossible to keep everything clean all the time. I loved the costco experience. In my country our supermarkets are tiny but we got our first costco earlier this year. Unfortunately it's quite a trip for me otherwise I'd go once a month (I have started shopping once a month with a small shop for fresh items halfway through if needed). It's fascinating seeing all of your supermarkets and how your food is two to three times cheaper than anything here. Shelley I'm with you stationary is my buying obsession right from my college years. We have kmart here which actually has really good priced stationary including planners etc. I was a teacher before I became ill which was great (maybe bad depending on how you look at it) for my stationary obsession. Now I buy it for my niece who also loves it and I still need stationary even if it's to make my study look pretty. Thank you for taking us along with you. Being so ill I'm in a lot of pain and last night I couldn't sleep so your video has helped distract me which means a lot to me. I love your channel and being part of your youtube channel. I'm 45 so a similar age to both of you so I feel like I relate to both of you in many ways. I also fostered children before I became to ill. Sending lots of love and prayers from me in New Zealand. 😊
My local university often uses the rolling garbage and recycling bins in the culinary arts and baking and pastry arts to throw and recycle paper towels, recyclables, and basically anything we toss that goes into the huge garbage and recycling bin outside the building. We also use a “pig” bucket to toss food into and those tossed food get tossed into the compost bin outside the building.
U r not alone‼️ my mom and dad loved cucumbers sliced and put in a bowl with vinegar and a little water with salt and pepper. SO GOOD ‼️ we ate it all summer. Instead of chips we would eat those all day‼️💚
cucumber and onion = sliced cucumber's and onion's mix together and pour over them the dressing. 1 cup white viniger 1/2 cup of sugar and salt/pepper to taste. or mix with ranch and viniger.
Such a fun video. When you adults all get together you just gel. And, throughout my childhood every Sunday tea at my grandmas we had cucumber and onions (homegrown in the greenhouse) soaked in vinegar and a tiny bit of sugar. We loved it. And it’s continued through the generations to my grandchildren too. Here in uk 🇬🇧
Yes, Shelley, I agree - you eat & open it after you pay. Feel like Kylie was more to handle today than all 20+ kids together. Never knew they had a Costco like this. Thanks for the laughs w tge garbage can Jared & mark 😅😂😊
Cucumbers in vinegar good cut them up put them in a bowl put a red onion with pour vinegar over that mix but it's in the refrigerator for about two hours and get cold and eat it delicioso, it's how we eat them here in Kentucky
I also eat and drink things in store before checking out. One time I even ate something and handed the Empty wrapper/packet to the cashier, she scanned it then binned it haha.
Love y’all, yes peoples in the store can eat and drink if they going to buy the stuff. There was one RU-vid that I saw them doing it . Give everybody a hugs . I did it before when I was a little kids.
