Benicio is definitely reminiscent of great actors of the Golden era such as Dean, Brando, Douglas, Peck. And recently, in the same league as DiCaprio and Penn.

Am I the only one that feels like Del Toro is like, a couple of levels above Smiths acting ability. Smith is decent. But Del Toro is like, a godly actor! He's one of those guys that's difficult to tell which roles he actually plays because he can almost meld INTO the character. Sometimes he doesn't even LOOK like himself.

If you told me 10 years ago both Will Smith and Benicio Del Toro would be in comic book movies I'd tell you that you were nuts.

I saw Will Smith years ago do the Disney Supercalifragilistic.... and he blew it out the park. I told my daughter then that anyone who can rock a song like that and make an awesome video to back it up has to be one of the greatest future entertainers of our time. She asked me why did I think Will would be such a great entertainer and I said because all his stuff is fresh and it'll cross over. Next thing I knew, Fresh Prince came out and the legend began. Now Benicio, very under-rated. Benicio is one of the greatest actors of our time. I'm embarrassed to say my two favorite movies by him was (1) with Alicia Silverstone, Excess Baggage, (2) The Usual Suspects, (3) SICARIO. I love all his movies. And this is an awesome interview with two of my favorite actors of all time!

This is one of the Best Actors on Actors Interviews. Really. Thank-You 💝😎🏆 How often do two major Movie Titans get together-on film-unscripted-and just talk like regular people? Not often. Sicario was a wild vicious movie and the acting was stellar! I can see exactly what 😎 Benicio is talking about with his character being conflicted-the team and the entire direction of their goal unravelled rather quickly and he had to take the reigns. He was OUTSTANDING in that role😎🏆🙆. As he truly is in SO many of his films. The most recent HBO series about the two escapees in Upstate New York is one of the most well done and put together films I have ever seen. The cinematography the major cool soundtrack flush beside each scene-Muey Perfecto! And the subject matter for ME-I had ZERO interest in...and yet Benicio and Dana and Arquette-they grabbed me as a viewer and just pulled me right into that whole thing. And damned if I couldn't stop hoping those two worthless scumbags would actually get out!--and Benicio's character--does NOT need to be out. So that was his power. He convinced ME his devils character was good. I feel like Mr. Benicio Del Toro has proven himself as a heavyweight Actor 💪😎🏆time and time again. It would be nice to see him get more Golden opportunities to really Shine. Because he can! And of course...TRAFFIC. Absolute PURE GOLD BENICIO 🏆🏆🏆 All the way! He is doing fabulously and I wish him so many more Brilliant roles-leading seriously Great roles is what he deserves. COOLKAT 😎 Mr. Will Smith NO slouch either, explaining Concussion- I had no idea he felt that way about Football. Then again, I know nothing about the sport. Del Toro is Ff-ing amazing in Sicario. I love to watch him in any movie. He mostly has supporting roles, I think (don't shoot me, just unverified memory, love to read otherwise) but for me he is always the leading actor. Commanding presence. If he is in it, I watch it. Brilliant actor. Will Smith has come a long way, he still has that chip on his shoulder though, it seems, of not being stage trained. He is a great actor with at times debatable career choices, but he stays that amazing up-top personality who is head strong and willing to go the extra mile to force luck and success into his own corner. Quite an amazing character and very humble. Love that about him, both of them BTW. One little complaint about their talk: it took a while to ease on the alpha thing, and let in the love for each other's performances. Enjoyed it nonetheless! (I know, I'm late to the game, being 4 years ago... ;-)
