With the Disney plus shows airing on Wednesdays, I don’t like that just cuz rebels and resistance aired on Saturdays, and all the shows airing on Friday felt like “RIGHT, WEEKENDS IS WHEN WE INDULGE WITH NEW STAR WARS CONTENT” At first I though Loki aired on Wednesday cuz a Star Wars tv show (bad batch) was on Friday, so they wanted to separate the 2 biggest franchises of all time, where as with Wanda vision and FWS there wasn’t anything else airing on Friday

Wait, I don’t like to get in behind the scenes politics that much, I like to enjoy stuff just by what it is (for example I paid no attention to Solo a Star Wars Story having troubled productions) but are you saying that visions, Bad Batch season 2 (if that even happens), Kenobi, Ahsoka etc are still on Fridays Again just cuz of my personal experience I just prefer Fridays

I know that now, just my personal preference to be on a weekend so I have that time to take in what happens (as I’m also playing through KOTOR 2 and then after republic commando and maybe revenge of the sith VG so I did like to think of weekends as Star Wars weekends, just like at Disney world in Florida back in like 2016)

I have a feeling we're going to see boba fett still being with cad bane. This could cause it to link into the previously unused fett arc in the clone wars and the reason he'll turn on bane is because he relates to omega, being a young unique clone. Could we even potentially see boba briefly join the bad batch?

Exactly. We find out Boba is on Cad Bane's ship when Omega wakes up. Ryloth isn't too far away from Kamino. Whatever Boba does to foil Cad's plans to get paid will make him very upset and lead them to Ryloth. That's why we're going to Ryloth next, where we see the Siege of Ryloth first hand...

The thing with Fridays and Wednesdays is that on a Friday, I can spare some time to watch something and then talk about it, because I don't go to work the next morning. Not so much on a Wednesday. This kind of situation pertains to a lot of people, I imagine.

That Poggers the Lesser joke made me laugh I can't lie😂 I think it is possible to use "dark side powers" for good or at least without being corrupted, it's just very difficult and requires a lot of restraint. We see Luke and Ahsoka use Force Choke to subdue enemies but not kill them and in Legends, Luke and Plo Koon both used a Force Lightning ability. It's an interesting discussion I think. I also feel like if Palpatine had died, they would have had enough evidence to prove it to the Senate, Anakin's testimony and three dead Jedi Masters killed by a lightsaber attack AND whatever files Palpatine has on his computer, which I'm guessing were the Death Star plans and simply call for an election for a new Supreme Chancellor so the Jedi wouldn't be in power too long. That and Bail Organa and the Delegation of 2000 would also help in the transition since they were trying to preserve democracy anyway. I can see Bane having some trouble delivering Omega but maybe not from rival bounty hunters, Omega herself is crafty so unless Bane is going all out from the get go, she may give him a run for his money, literally.

According to the Mandalorian season 2: Boba Fett's armor was inherited from Jango. However in the Clone Wars, Boba makes a bomb using Jango's helmet. Did Jango have multiple pieces of armor? Or is Boba's armor pieced together from not only his father, but from other Mandalorians as well?

There’s a short story of Hera doing supply runs to Rhyloth before she meets Kanan, as well. It was in insider and then in the Dawn of the Empire book, so she’s doing rebel stuff even before she joins the alliance.

If droids are prohibited from escape pods, that helps explain why the imperial gunner didn't shoot it. He wouldn't expect a droid to go against its programming. It's a stretch, I know.

I think we’re gonna see the boba standoff with Cad. Theres a big theme in westerns where the new blood kills the old gun slinger, killing the past and making way for the future. Cad saying all clones are easy to them be killed by a clone child would be perfectly poetic

About the last question, I remember hearing that - and I've no idea where this information is from - the red robes Palpatine wore when declaring the transition to the Galactic Empire were traditional Sith robes, as a last "up yours" to any Jedi who might be alive and watching.

I think it's still very possible they will do the Boba Fett/Cad Bane fight despite the shoot out with Hunter looking so similar. Film makers and TV show runners love doing that kind of similar set up, switcheroo ending (see GoT's trials by combat as an example that comes to mind). Also having things look similar is a very star wars thing, cue George Lucas "It rhymes" clip.

Doubt it. But then, Yularen was pretty high up the imperial hierarchy so who knows. Vader didn’t kill EVERY officer that pissed him off a little.

Keep in mind Boba is only a few years older than Omega. He might be getting big enough to fit in his dad's armor, but I think it's a bit premature... Plus, Cad Bane is likely to live until just before, or maybe into the OT. Boba may not kill him, but the _close call_ (with possible injury) will put him into retirement, whereas he can still show up in *The Mandalorian.*

She's obviously Jango's clone. She has the same accent, looks exactly like Boba in facial features... Jango wanted an unaltered clone for himself. The Kaminoans experimented on a non-age-enhanced clone for themselves. Boba is the alpha and Omega is the final experiment before the genetic material got too deteriorated. Deterioration doesn't make her a different clone, as if from a different progenitor. They still have the same father, yet she is female, which is the easiest change to make in a clone - sex, eye color, hair color... all those things are recessive and dominant genes within the same genetic material. She may also be weaker in some aspects and stronger in others, or she may be fully enhanced. The genetic enhancements would be the stronger characteristics. ~~ Boba's age is only in reference to his size, and how he'd fit in his dad's armor. I don't think it fits yet... Furthermore, what that has to do in the duel with Cad Bane is, it wouldn't fit as well as it does when it happens. I wasn't referring to any love situation. I'm sorry I didn't see that you were, or I would have rolled my eyes and ignored the comment altogether.

I hope the "droid rights" issue will come up again in later stories, because it does bother me that we see so many basically sentient droids and sometimes they get treated like friends or equals, but no one ever seems ready to actually enforce their rights.

Q&A: Palpatine has been shown activating Order 66 in his Darth Sidious appearance. So, could anybody who would wear a cloak and use a voice modulator be able to activate Order 66? Or did Sidious also use the force to trigger the chips in the clones’ brains? In the movies, the clones immediately answer "It will be done, my lord" even Jessie in the last Clone Wars episode says "We are under special orders from Darth Sidious" How do they know him or his Sith title? He was known to them as chancellor Palpatine, not Darth Sidious!

The surviving Jedi largely deduced that Palpatine was a Sith Lord and that Darth Vader was his apprentice, though some just believed Vader to be Sith without realizing Palpatine was, but few realized that Vader was Anakin. And none besides Obi-Wan and Yoda knew Anakin had kids.

14:44 Aren't Chopper and the Ghost in Rogue One? Rebels season 4 is only 1 or 2 BBY, so it's not impossible for Hera or someone in Rebels to show up in Andor. Edit 1: added time stamp. Edit 2: If Andor season 1 doesn't time jump, I guess they wouldn't show up? But Hera does have connections to the Rebellion before they officially join Phoenix Squadron.

Either the Kaminoans hired Bane after Fennec failed to secure Omega... OR Crimson Dawn hired Bane because Maul wants Omega because she’s a clone of Palpatine.

I would also point out how Luke Force choked the Gamorean guards at Jabba's palace on Return of the Jedi. And I've always seen mind tricks as flirting with the Dark Side as you're literally taking away another being's free will; yes, it's only on a limited scale since it's temporary and specific, but it's still taking away their free will.

What ST character would I want to see in earlier stuff? I definitely agree about Maz; specifically, I want to see her interact with Chewie more (honestly, I was disappointed they didm't have her on Solo; missed opportunity!). Other than her, the only other new character from the ST that I like was Rose Tico, but she would be too you at the point in the timeline when The Mandalorian and all the other shows are taking place. I would like to see more of her after The Last Jedi to expand on and complete her character arc (which had an amazing start in TLJ if you really think about it, though I won't go into a long winded explanation unless I'm asked), but that's not something the current shows could really do as they happen in the wrong time period.

For me, I liked Star Wars coming out in December because it gave me something to look forward to in December whereas I usually have other stuff happening earlier in the year. That way I can celebrate Life Day!

I don't expect to see anyone from Rebels in Andor, but it would be cool to see how Zeb and/or Sabine came to join Hera and Kanan (since we already have the story of how those two met and started traveling together). I always got the sense that Sabine was the newest addition to the crew before Ezra, so maybe have Hera, Kanan, and Zeb work with Cassian on a mission during which they meet Sabine, then that could end with Hera telling Cassian that Fulcrum is sending the Ghost crew to Lothal for some missions, which would be a great lead in to Rebels.

I'm thinking the Kaminoans hired both bounty hunters, but the prime minister is the one that hired Cad Bane, because he's too impatient to wait for Fennec. Wednesdays is fine for me; It's something to do in the middle of the week, and with things opening up, people are losing their minds to go out. I just wish the premiers weren't at 3am. It means all the west coast folks can just stay up a bit later, while I either stay up way later or spend the day avoiding everyone to avoid spoilers.

Here’s a question for next weeks Q&A Do you guys think that an inquisitor will eventually be involved in the bad batch Either to catch omega or if some other force sensitive character appears like Asoka maul or a gnu character entirely I just think it would be the ideal place to learn more about the inquisitors now that the show is set in the era it is sett in I would definitely love that but I’m curious to hear what you guys think about it and how it could happen if you guys think it would even happen

Q: if chain codes were introduced by the Empire, does that mean there was nothing like the passports, national identification numbers, or social security numbers during the rule of the republic? If so, wouldn’t that make it nigh impossible for a space age civilisation to function?

@@eccentricorbiter1390 imagine modern society without any form of standardised ID. Personality theft would be incredibly easy, and fake identities to. And I could also imagine just stuff like getting jobs, healthcare and travelling and so on would be way more chaotic and disorganised. For ancient and medieval civilisations it was easy enough, but for a modern or space age civilisation I think it would be near impossible to keep society running.

@@hansmorktopphol901 The problem is that you're assuming society in the Republic is built the same way it is in ours. Society managed just fine in medieval times and there wasn't any sort of ID. Hell, I'm pretty sure standardized ID is fairly new, historically speaking, maybe a century old at most. I don't find it hard to imagine a society that just doesn't rely on ID.

Come to think of it, the Kaminoans said they had someone on the job to retrieve Omega, and we assumed it was Fennec Shand... But who is it really now ? Was it Cad Bane ? Or Fennec Shand ? Or both ? I’m not a huge spoilerphobe at all, but it was weird you did a big Bad Batch spoiler alert, followed by a big High Republic spoiler. I guess “it’s only been a day” is fair for BB, but just want to point out that it’s super easy to stream Bad Batch immediately but less so to get the comics in hand. Again, I’m not a huge anti spoiler guy, but I know you guys are thoughtful and likely this was just something you missed, so I wanted to point it out. Also I think the High Republic could use more support and would benefit from more of the tease and surprise moments for fans to experience as intended. The animation has that filoni juice behind it, but HR needs every bit of hype it can muster to win the uphill battle ahead of it imho.

Hera and the Ghost crew were smugglers when they arrived on Lothal. My guess is that Her and Kanen met a few years after Order 66 while he was still hiding and running from the clones and inquisitors.

Q/A: If human women are allowed to join the Empire as it was showed in the comics and the TV series Star Wars Rebels, why in the original trilogy, they are not shown in places like the Death Star in A New Hope, or Vader's Super Star Destroyer The Executor in The Empire Strikes Back, or in the shield generator of the Second Death Star in Endor?
