Country Music's origins are more varied and its reach far wider than most people think. Even Nashville's African Diaspora communities reflect the patterns of a country music lifestyle. Ketch explores some unique origin stories in the music he's spent the past 20 years uncovering. Ketch Secor is the lead singer of the Grammy award winning string band Old Crow Medicine Show. His song Wagon Wheel, co-authored with Bob Dylan, has become a world-wide favorite. In 2014 he launched Episcopal School of Nashville. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Hold on. I swear every time I travel and return home, I tell my wife about the awesome cab/Uber driver from [at this point fill in the country] who loves America and inspired my love for her just a little deeper. That needs to be viral.
