Good job on your swap and doing all the required changes. I know it took me a long while of 2 months and patience barding my 00 wht EK hatch 00 GSR motor. Good luck on the bard. Oh yeh, only cost $8.75 for the smog n bard sticker too!! 😁

Got ref last year for stock 00" d16y8. Don't need to drive full cycle. I also got new o2 senser bank 1. I drove for 30mins hard and before my appt. I use my bluetooth scanner with app on my phone. Scanner reads everything an aftermarket ecu does. Live o2 readings fuel trim etc. Lmk if you want to test it out I'm in San diego also.

Did the ref check if the ecu matches the engine vin? Asking because I have a 06 rsx motor with a 02 to 05 ep3 ecu. In process of reffing it

Hey Tommy, long time sub here :D! What is Bard? I come from germany and is it something like the TÜV (technical inspection that we have to do every 2 years in germany) ? Do you guys in cali have to do this to all of your cars? And do you have to register every aftermarket part you installed? Here in germany if you modify something .. even the smallest thing you have to register that part into your cars papers and you can only register parts that have papers or certificates from the "TÜV" on it.. thats really stressful :( Because if you dont have that you can't do the TÜV inspection and your car can be impounded by the police :(. And yeah as you can think right now you can really only install parts with such a certificate :( so no spoon or mugen goodies here in germany.. at least not in a legal state of the car. ^^ Love ur vids, keep up to what you are doing !
