We were considering building late last summer because it was cheaper to build new than to buy used. We would have had a contract for a specific price. If we would have gone through with it and just sold it when it was done, we could have made a ton of money. :-/

It is difficult to find a house anywhere,even when you have the money,finding the house that fixes into your budget is another problem.

Really hard times for buyers here in Australia as well. We bought the house but not what we thought we will buy it for. Market excuse: shortage of building materials.
