LL, is Lasse Lammert...German metal Producer. There are only two of his Profiles on the Player. His full Profile pack is right there on your PC in Rig Manager as a Free Kemper Rig Pack. And the MW Engl profile you played is Michael Wagener.
I’ve been a Kemper user since 10 years. The player is the perfect practice tool, especially when traveling , but also for the couch when practicing . I love my tube amps, but for me it’s a no brainer to use the Kemper in most cases.
So gut die Kemper mittlerweile sind, das Problem ist einfach, dass sie in einigen Jahren einfach ein haufen Digitalschrott sind. Proprietäre Firmware und Chips, RAM-Speicher hat auch nur eine begrenzte Lebensdauer und dazu kommt die psychische Obsoleszenz, denn in ein, zwei Jahren gibt es schon das nächste - vermeintlich - bessere Gerät mit mehr Rechenpower. Das alles ist keine Kritik am Gerät selbst, auch nicht an dem Konzept. Aber auch aus diesem Grund bleibe ich bei meinem Röhrenverstärker: Die kannst du auch in 20 Jahren noch reparieren und sie klingen toll. Hinzu kommt die Emotionalität, die man über die Jahre mit einem Gerät verbindet. Schlecht wenn der digitale Prozessor dann einfach nicht mehr arbeitet, weil es die kurzlebigen Bauelemente und Komponenten nicht mehr gibt. Beste Grüße (auch) aus Rostock ;)
@@Aeon_Electronics sehe ich genauso. Am Ende führt es mich immer wieder zum analogen Amp zurück. Macht mir persönlich mit der Einfachheit in der Bedienung etc. auch einfach mehr Spaß. :-)
I did and had no issues at all. Everything sounded good and went smoothly. :-) Even the music you play through your smartphone connect with Bluetooth there were no issues or latency etc. :-)
Yeah the green one is so cool! I‘m a little scared of the Floyd Rose quality though. Never played a FR Special before. Even more confusing are the prices on the Priestess models of Marzi Montszeri. ^^
the friedman ir x is a much better solution on your pedalboard with your favorite pedals if you get a bad backline amp or a small venue you can go to a di. btw all your tube heads will sound better with old glass. enjoy!
The phone is connected wireless. You plug this unit into your interface with the built-in IRs and cabs etc. or you deactivate that part of the rig and only use the preamp section into the FX return of your amp. Or you buy the Kemper cabinet which is active and run the player directly into that speaker. :-)
After having heard several dozen non-sponsored reviews of Kemper Player, I have to say I'm totally unimpressed by the sound of it. It doesn't sound any better than Mooer ge200 or Hotone Ampero. or any of the far East Multifx. Something like Ampero Stomp 2 sounds much better, not to mention NAM.
Man you act like this unit is new… it is the exact same thing kemper produces for more than a decade in a smaller unit. If your problem In order to replace your amps is a small unit , still quad cortex and tonex is out there, years ago before kemper player comes out . Stop with those clackbait titles ….
