Congratulations! Always a special feeling to buy your first house. You asked for input, but I think you're already on the right track since you mentioned the invasive species. The first major project I did after buying my house was pull out several dozen buckthorn and several dozen black locusts (the latter I think might be native where you are, but they're invasive here). Definitely worth it, and a satisfying project to do.

Forgot how long Mazda sold those along with the Ford badged version. Very popular in 1970s,but a savvy buyer would buy the Mazda,came with more gimmicks/ equipment and lower price than Ford.
