Here's the difference...the Oriole players were able to get out of the way...Yankees were not able to because of the way they lunge out over the plate. Fact: Yankees pitchers have hit way more Orioles than Orioles pitchers have hit Yankees. If anyone needs to get even, it would be the Orioles. Not to mention...when is the last time you saw a baserunner mow over a thirds basemen fielding a routine ground ball...I agree...Soto should have ate a fastball after that!
When we talk about getting even, Is becuz the Yankees got slaughtered 17-5 and the Orioles won the series. Yankees Payback is about winning the series or swept of Orioles next time they played against each other .
Cole will never hit anyone on purpose....no big money star will do that anymore. There's too much risk.
