Today I introduce a new project, a 1973 Ford F350 Ranger Chinook Camper thing, which hasn't been on the road in over 20 years! Music - Moog - Jimmy Rabbit (feat. Mammals) / jimmy-rabbit-feat-mamm...
Great find, and never mind what that commentor said about not testing. What's done is done, no point in hollering at you. I would've done the same thing ,more than likely! Anyway, im looking forward to seeing what happens with it. I would suggest that you try to keep it as original as possible, it's such a time capsule and if you decide to resell it, original will be more valuable.
You are brave, or silly, testing those unnecessary systems, before a full tune up evaluation. Did you check the radiator level before driving? Transmission, power steering, brake fluid before driving? Great that it all seems to be complete. Tear apart that ventilation system! You don't want mouse poop virus! Get that radiator professional clean med, leak and pressure tested. Its the heart of the engine durability. (The AC needs upgrade/rebuild to newer "freon".) Have the brake fluid completely flushed, and system rebuilt. Monster time project. Should last decades with good care.
Won't dispute the silly allegation 😅 but I did check the coolant, brake fluid, bled the brakes, checked trans fluid, and checked for leaks before I took it on the road. And yes I agree the radiator and brakes will be gone through soon, as well as the ventilation system 😅
