@@Pokerbabbothank for the sincere vlog ❤ it's very nice ‼ what is a supposed bankroll to play 1/2 deep stack like 250bb ? Having a decent winrate ! Thanks !!!
I think you need to figure out how to play more hands in 1/3. Your hand selection is good for 2/5. In 1/3 the players are generally scared of aggression. If you play more hands in position aggressively you’ll win more pots. It’s also easier to put 1/3 players on hands because they generally place face up. Especially against aggression. You probably need to figure out how to play more hands in 2/5. It’s very hard to eke out the consistent wins with such a a low vpip. See flops in position. Even if you’re have an inferior hand. Position plays well regardless of your cards. Idk. I don’t think you’re a nit but I think to become a better player you need to find the right spots to play more hands. Just start trying it in position. Fantastic content. I think you’re a better player than you give yourself credit for. If you felt like you were a better player maybe you’d feel more comfortable playing a few more hands than you do. At least so see a flop. Anyways that’s been the biggest change to my game and my win rate has responded. 1/3 players are pretty clear when they have you beat.
He has to play this way cause he's got a family to feed. He's trading variance for consistency. There's enough mistakes being made in 1/3 where ABC poker may be boring but it will consistently win out and be profitable in the long run. Keep doing what you're doing man!
I know everybody loves advice and i usually never say anything ... But 😅 ... If you are really including every hand i would recommend upping the aggression and bluffing just a tad man. I've seen every video and I'm no expert but in my very humble opinion i feel like i would jam on you a bunch if i were an opponent that had watched your videos
Cool vlog. You seem too play not many hands unless you have the goods. Might be playing face up idk. You were so scared of AAs in that pocket KK hand. You left so much value on the table
Know another guy who plays at Jamul often, but usually plays the PLO games (or at least to my understanding, he probably also plays 1/3 there too when there isn't PLO games going on)....Now for the on-topic comment...another good vid...
At 7:40 Pocket Queens - If you actually think you are behind preflop facing a massive open ($50) from a very tight player, I think the correct play is to fold. The odds of winning are too small for the amount of money in the pot. if you don't think you an outplay your opponent post flop then just fold the queens, IMO.
This is super interesting, I really enjoy listening to your thought processes..Do you have a video where you talk about what you do after you fold, before that next round begins? A big reason I see too many people in VR playing too many hands is because they say they're "bored" if they're not in a hand. I, myself, find myself a bit anxious when I try to observe other players as well, maybe because I'm not super strong on my own game. Feel free to point me to an old video but know if you talk about that topic in yoru videos in the future I'll deeply appreciate that too :)
Are you now part of the Hungry Horse stable. How is everything going since you took their program. I’ve watched all of your vlogs but haven’t noticed any changes since you announced you were taking the program.
It feels like you are scared of monster under the bed... sometimes you just have to lose money: you can't really be scared when you flop flush. If oppo has a better flush, so be it. If you do the math, the % that 2 players flop flush is 0.84%*0.84%....
On the A❤4❤ hand, the board was A♣️,3❤,K♦️ but the turn was the 3♣️, so at worst you are likely chopping with any other A (he would have 3-bet AK), and you are crushing any ambitious K.
The bomb pot hand was surprising to me given how tight you normally play. I’d have never considered calling that river. The turn I probably sold considering how dangerous bottom or middle set is in bomb pots. You’re essentially just quad mining.
The KK Vs QQ you just have to 4bet pre. With the straddle 100bb, effective, if he has AA gg. Even though he's super tight, if he ever has TT/JJ/QQ, you just want to play for all the money. You seem convinced that he will fold but idk people don't like folding good hands.
This is a terrible take. He tells us this guy is tight AF and has bet sizing tells. The correct play is to fold pre if you are that certain. How TF are you telling him to 4bet, stay at 1-2
@@zekebones34 idk, he left a ton of money on the table there. Kk vs QQ he should've nearly doubled up on that runout. They are only 100bb effective with the straddle. Also the 3b wasn't nearly as large as the open raise the player did when they had KK. You lose more money by losing out on value in these spots than trying to avoid a cooler like AA vs KK
That’s the think I think he’s always folding TT JJ(that he may not 3bet in the 1st place specially TT) and even QQ a decent amount of the time leaving me mostly against AA. You have to be aware of the game dynamics and not just follow what the book says. I’m aware that 100bb deep you’re happy to get it all-in with KK.
Yeah we all know that extremely tight, cautious, ABC style, no-limit poker is definitely winning long term, but it sure is boring as hell to play. And watch. Good luck!
Man that person kept putting you to with a 4 or 5X raises with the premium hands especially the scary board with aces but you came out with some decent profit
Watched the entire video, hoping to hear the numbers for the month at the end. What was your hourly for the month for each stake and how many hours did you log? Good luck building your bankroll!
Bro will get pummeled if he ever moves up in stakes. This is the nittiest ive ever seen anyone play. You literally only bet nuts/top top. You miss on so much value its crazyyyy
@@Pokerbabbo mandatory is not the word I was using but, I definitely would’ve went all in with AA and 50% on kk depending on position and how many call. Sorry about that.
@@Pokerbabbo respectfully, raising preflop is a mistake if you plan on checking that board. I get it, it was multiway, but still that board hits your preflop raising range.
AJo and AQo are definitely foldable hands from a pre-flop raise. I know that there are others who will comment "why fold AJo and AQo?" This is even in the Basic Pre-Flop Strategy Chart even before GTO exists.
Run your vlog how you want, but I don't see how saying out loud "T3o, 86o, 94o..." adds any value. I'd rather just hear silence over that to be honest. Or some music. In the KQ hand at 6:34 I think you missed a ton of value by not betting for 3 streets. I can understand the check if the board is worse for you but other than 33 or 55 you have the nuts. You allowed KJ to see showdown for 2 streets. In your 53s hand 23:52, you are betting river to get called by exactly one worse hand, 3 combos of K9s... that is way too thin. "If I check and he bets I probably have to call, so I'm gonna bet" isn't a valid reason to bet. If you don't think he's betting big with a worse hand, check and just fold to big bet and call a small bet. You can also just fold it pre.
I respectfully disagree. Poker face ash did this too and there's a bunch of us that really appreciate it. It's just good to be reminded to fold stuff. But to each his own.
Agreed. It’s annoying. Just show the cards and move on. Also, he’s the nittiest nitty nit who ever nitted, he isn’t betting all three streets for value with less than a set.. Ever.
I’m a losing long-time recreational player trying to take poker more seriously and learn what I might be doing wrong, so I kind of like that you announce all of the hands out loud, just as I like that you show all of them. It might be cool if you could linger just a beat or two longer to comment more in depth when you discard hands like KJ, AJ or suited A-rag. But then again, that might bore the better players in your audience. Either way, love the VLOG and GL.
I definitely agree on the 53s hand. The KQ one so multiway I just have a check OOP strategy. I think I very likely got max value anyways since I don’t know if he was calling a triple barrel with KJ. He tank called vs 2 streets
I'm here for the first time. I like the video quality and the solide low stakes action. Wanna give you two points to think about; First is content related. Maybe you can skip all the uneventfull hands. Wether entertaining nor worthful for learning. Second, you should be more selective with the tables you play. This table looks awful. A lot of dinosaurs...
@@Pokerbabbo way to lose the minimum tho since u know generally what range your up against at casino low/mid stakes in these spots 🤦🏼😂 I deal with it too man lmfao I’m east coast tho. If u ever come to east coast play at Wind Creek in PA, action is awesome so many whales, I’m only telling you this too (it’s secret info)😂🤘🏻🤘🏻
Not 4 betting KK and check/calling it through is the nittiest play ive ever seen 👴🏻☕ If I would have taken that line (calling the 3bet) i wouldve jammed the turn. If he has AA, so be it. Open your game a little bit. Bluff some more. You basically play your cards face up.
Reading the two cards is unnecessary and frankly kind of annoying. Please consider dropping the audio, perhaps dropping showing the immediately folded hands completely? We are really only interested in hangs where you actually play.
I like seeing it,,its more realistic than skipping to all the juicy parts. Maybe music or him discussing strategy while the unplayed hands play would be a good balance
@@DrewskiPrinceyea there was one part where the hands he folded were shown as he was still discussing the previous hand. That was really nice. Might be an editing challenge tho
