I paid about 80k TWD to get a Gogoro 2, and then a 900 TWD monthly plan to get all you can ride . A bit higher than combustion scooter, but worth it. @@amaliahightower

The problem that will always plague every single battery swapping technology is the longevity of the electrical connectors. Essentially, it is very difficult to make a connector that can handle the amps and the plug and pulls over time. The connectors will wear out and the quality will drop if the companies maintenance on the batteries falls behind. There will also be a wear and tear on the connector ends that are part of the scooter. And that maintenance will depend on the owner of the scooter. It's not my intention to poo poo this tech, but only two enlighten people on the engineering problems behind this. I cannot speak the economic issues for that is not my forte other than will the profitability be sufficient enough to cover the overhead costs of battery maintenance and cost of charging? I'm sure there's a number that works, but will that number work for the consumers?
Gogoro needs to have an app to show locations of batteries and maybe u can reserved and pay online so it will avoid problem of unavailability. I don't want to get stuck waiting for bat to be fully charged.

It seems like vehicles are more expensive here compare to 🇺🇸 It doesn’t make sense if they manufacture in Asia like Japan n Korea. Wow…I’m surprised to see the free parking 💙 When i went to Landers in BGC, the parking fee is 50 pesos for 3 hours then after that it’s 50 pesos additionally every hour. I went to Mitsukoshi and their parking is cheaper, 60 pesos for 3 hours, 20 pesos additionally every hour. Imo…I think both sucks! I think MOA has a better price of all which is 50 pesos all day. IKEA is the same as Landers in BGC which I don’t get?! I’m frugal 😂
The US is a car-centric country. Americans love their cars to the point where they can't live without it. It is no longer a want for them but a need. Hence, the cheaper prices of cars there.
You forgot the most important advantage to electrical, it’s better for the environment because it runs cleaner than gas engines. If only all the jeepneys were the same, the Philippines would be a much cleaner place🙏🏼

The only reason the elites are trying to adopt the electric vehicles so people will think they're saving nature which is far from the truth. They just want to stop Middle East on growing bigger since the whole world is depending on Gas, they need to find alternatives but it's hard task. I'll ride electric sure, but gas vehicle is the best. We'll enjoy the era of gas vehicle till it last tho since electric is the future

Gasoline scooter advantage is not really the range but the availability of gasoline stations, if gogoro is able to setup these quick swap stations the gogoro would inevitably replace your gas motorcycles. 😂
No thanks and I don’t like the idea of a possible shut down/shut off if an authority wanted to control movement. They can’t control a gas powered vehicle.
Good to have an option for electronic vehicles but will definitely wait to see the eco system, example the swapping station, how well its gonna maintain, imagine travel far and wanting to swap but most of the battery or station not working this gonna be hell
what on earth Globe doing in that event. The last thing i want is tracking where you go. It seems to be the trend these days. If i go electric, ill definately remove any tracking devices in my bike.
