The fact they decide to test the other one proves they want this relationship to be different than the previous failing ones. They want to make it work and it’s because they care that i think they actually do the test. Let’s imagine you are the one being setup into a scenario. If you are being loyal and decide to not cheat, that should be a moment of relief when you understand this was all a setup. Someone caring, understanding, mindful and confident overall, would be surprised but would actually be willing to reassure the one who tested them. Then it should be a team work to actually gain trust from each other. If you have nothing to be ashamed of due to your comportement, there is no reason for you to tell your bf/gf that THEY are the one being crazy, being insecure and litterally say you had no choice or any bullshit like that. If you are not willing to be tested just don’t date someone who didn’t heal from their trust issues. Stay single or date someone else. + Don’t be surprise to go THROUGHT that when you decide to not take your time and decide to engage in a relationship after a few weeks/months getting to know someone. The hard conversation are necessary at the beginning. The deep mindful conversation are a MUST when you really look for something SERIOUS. You have to take responsibility and accept the consequence of your decisions. If you still decide to engage with someone not healed, just be compassionate toward your significant other and do your own due diligence, manage to help them overcoming their lack of trust by reminding them you are trustworthy and no matter how many time they test you, you won’t fail.
