I was sceptical and didn't let it work the 1st time but then did it again and to my own disbelief my arms separated and it was awesome thank you. I actually opened my mind and let it happen instead of trying to prove you wrong. With the theory you can't hypnotise me… lol

Whaaaaaat... I've never believed that being hypnotized would actually work... I didn't realize I was actually supposed to move my arms so I kept them still but my left hand actually started feeling lighter like there was air blowing at it, and my right arm felt really heavy. This is so crazy...

Amazing, thank you! I think that it's not a matter of can you be hypnotized, but more a matter of do you want to be. If you truly want to be hypnotized then I think you can, and will be. I'm no pro, and this is just my humble opinion.

That was really cool! The books I felt more resistant towards because I felt as though I wanted to be...tough... and lift them books but my hand did feel weighed where as my left hand kept feeling like it was literally attached to a balloon!! So awesome!

I just got hypnotized and that was the coolest thing I've ever felt, as soon as he said the helium balloon started getting lighter and lighter my left hand started rising up and up until it was almost passed my head, while my right arm got heavier and heavier until it's by my side. I watched countless hypnotization videos, but none of them have ever worked, this was amazing

My right arm was extremely tired lol! And my left arm raised about a foot, i did it laying down. Amazing work!

I think the reason this works for some better than others is at least threefold: 1) Willingness and ability to use one's imagination. The better one's imagination, the better it should work. 2) The willingness to play along as in a role-playing game or a follow the leader scenario. 3) Ability and willingness to compliantly follow directions in a place or setting where, and or, with a person with whom they feel safe. Doing the "exercises" as part of a group likely also helps contribute to the sense of a combination of group think and safety in numbers. Many decades ago, as a teen, I was deeply hypnotized and it turned into something that was not safe, but by that time it was too late not to feel safe or that any suggestion by the hypnotist was not a good one worth doing or trying. Since then I have avoided hypnosis in general, as such, for the most part. I have also heard some authorities say that the more (either deeply or frequently) one submits to hypnosis, the less likely they are capable of resisting temptation to do negative, asocial behavior, or engage in inappropriate risky or other activities. This fear on the part of some might be further assuaged by describing the activity as a demonstration on the powers of persuasion and the benefits of positive thinking, especially strengthened when administered in groups. The very term "hypnosis" can raise a wall to rebel and resist being under the "control" of another. However, if introduced as a game or a test of one's ability to use the power of their own imagination, I think this reticence could be overcome and become more enjoyable for those who might otherwise go out of their way to avoid following instructions under the banner of "hypnosis." In this sense, the term "hypnosis," is a little like the term "magic" which has so many meanings and thereby evokes feelings ranging from creepy to inspiring and awesome; spine-chillingly fearful or evoking delightful miraculous hope. yep my left arm was at least 7 inches above my right arm and i had no clue that it had happened with my eyes closed i certainly couldn't feel them going up or coming down Wow man

I have a question I’d love to know the answer to. Every time I try hypnosis (child birth, hypnosis tests, sleep, etc) they seem to work part way. For example, My hands were about a foot apart. My right arm felt heavy and sore but not so much that I needed to drop it. The left went up but not way up. In other people’s videos I’ve had experiences where I can’t open my eyes but as soon as I realize it’s working I giggle and come out. During childbirth I could reduce my pain with self hypnosis but couldn’t go as deeply as you’re “supposed to” and turn it into a peaceful event. Is this something hypnotists see regularly in participants (people who are somewhere between hypnotizable and unhypnotizable)? Or am I just likely closer to one side of the equation than the other?

Something strange happened to me. My left arm was extremely tired and never went up. No matter how hard I thought. My right arm was very light but still went downwards for some reason.

I like this, I like the channel, I'm sure you are a good hypnotist. My hands were perfectly parallel at the end. I guess I am not a good subject for hypnosis. As I find this topic fascinating, it only left me even more perplexed as to how anyone can be hypnotized, and what that experience is like for those who undergo it.

I have a question. In all videos including this that i have seen, subjects are willing to be hypnotized. My question : is it possible to hypnotize someone when that person does'nt want to be hypnotized.

First off, for those of you who want to see a result, the key is to not only FOCUS on his voice and nothing else, but to try to ignore those thoughts about whether or not it's gonna work, or if it is working. Anyway, I'm a hypnosis skeptic, but as soon as he mentioned the books on my right arm I swear to God it continuosly started getting tired and weak. My left arm floated up as well, but the books felt heavier on my other arm. That was pretty damn weird.

I love card tricks...been doing them since 1960. Believe it or not, David Roth and I used to cut school together and he taught me my beginning stuff. Now, at 69, I'm still doing tricks. Even took it to the slums of Kingston, Jamaica where I worked with the poor and magic opened up so many doors in the middle of squalor and danger. I love tricks. Hypnosis? I'm really a bad candidate for it. But keep up the good work.

🤔 I guess it works my hands did move a little about 6 to 10 inches. I tried again but this time I didn't allow myself to get hypnotized so you have to allow it to happen or it doesn't work, kinda like team effort. Interesting video 👍
