If thats spun shells the rods will be fucked crank in probably fucked you need another engine if you put shells in that it wont last that engine at very least needs con rods crank ground or replaced probably cheaper to get another engine TRUST ME IF ITS SPUN SHELLS IT WILL EAT WHATEVER SHELLS U FIT TO IT THAT ENGINE IS FUCKED YOUR WAISTING TIME A GOOD MONEY PERSISTING WITH IT BEEN A MECHANIC 30 YEARS TRUST ME 😊😊😊😊

Daily oil and water and tyres checked on all vehicles James get Steve to design a checklist for each vehicle it only takes 5 minutes to do it every morning or do it last thing every day. Keep the videos coming. 👍👍👍👍👍

However as a fully trained Prototype engine builder for Ford who i believe made that engine in your forklift in my opinion it is what we say in Essex is Knackered It will need a complete rebuild inc new crank before it is really any good again . Once rebuilt check oil and water every day as should be done on all Vehicles .

They is a release button ior lever but make sure you turn of spur fuse before you try it inside barrier when have no power .

That was a bad day for you all. Is there something causing all of these blow outs or just crap tyres? That engine on that forklift ive never thiught sounded right. Think you were sold a lemon there, but sure ive seen 3 ton on previous videos pouring loads of oil in. Either get a good replacement or take it out and do it properly. No good bodging. Id send radiator off too for checking recon, are you any closer to sorting your old blue loader out

Can you put the engine from the Blue stacker into the Yellow stacker? It looks like a Perkin .354

As others have said it easily could have a Perkins engine - if so you might find that a tractor breaker, etc, might have a suitable replacement at a good price.

As soon as it locked up, means the motor should of been pulled it needs to be rebuilt. over heated on ali head will more than likely the head will be cracked and bearing shell locked to crank is more than likely the crank is stuffed. what you guys is doing is wasting time and money. you can't afford to cut corners. full rebuild / recon or get a good second-hand engine.

Five minutes and already twenty six likes! I wonder whether the LiteAce was designed as a mini version of the Hiace? Just a thought. So, we had two versions of "Will it start" - the LiteAce (success) and the forklift (Hmm). This is the essence of BCB videos, we see things as they are and it makes the whole thing so much more interesting. My worry is that while this is appreciated, how much is the down time costing BCB? Add to all this a power failure and it's enough to make you want to spit! But the team rise above it! James' motto "It's not the problem but the way you deal with it" echoes again. I wonder James, whether your comments about the machine operator giving you time to think and plan, conflicted with your 'hands on' personality and you could not resist joining in with the mechanics tending the fork lift? Guys what a bloody disaster of a day, James and John you need to get a back up generator that kicks in and runs the electric when the power goes off, John you see why the team were saying buy a new TV because cheap second hand comes back to bite you in the ass as a see with stuff breaking down. James you need to have a daily check book on each machine in the yard and each operator must check the oil, fuel, and water every day and fill in the check form in the book and sign it before using the machine they are operating to avoid stuff like the no oil in the forklift, Fair play to John astley he is saving you loads of money fixing the forklift. That crank will need a regrind, dont reassemble that engine with the crank like that, or you will be doing it all again.
